I allways play as a male character.  Nothing against Female's I just like to play as my own gender.

I always play as a female, and the first time I think I will try the rogue class

I'll be a 2 handed claymore swinging, elf hating, dwarf loving Male-Hawke who isn't worried to turn his back on companions, his view on family will be that they just drag you down, i'm probably heading towards the worst possible fate for my character but thats just the way the stone crumbles. Oh! and he will be named Thoma-Hawke or some sorta play on the name like Black-Hawke for example.

There are many reasons why people "gender bend" (as I call it) in games. Some do, in fact, do it for "obvious/stereotypical" reasons (i.e. reasons like, "if I'm going to stare at a character butt for several hours, I'd rather it be a [wo]man's butt"), others, not so much. It varies.

I will play mage first, try to make an East Asian face(I'm from east asia), but I know it's gonna be hard to make without mod

I don't play females characters and I don't plan on in the near future.



I will probably start out with a warrior like I always do in any game, unless they take out that horrendous staff 'damage' animation for base attacks and most spells, and make the mage use his hands a lot more. Then I'd be inclined to make a mage as they are usually deeper than the melee classes.



I never liked the whole "the power is in the staff" over the power is in the mage theory some games use.

I tend to play male characters, most likely because I am male myself. I will probably make a female character though, just won't be my first.



My first will be a male (probably customized) mage Hawke of neutral alignment.

I usually play as females in bioware games because, it's to rare an apportunity to pass up, playing a female who's a badass and dresses accordingly!

On that note I'll porbably play female warrior.

Probably Male Warrior, I was considering Male Mage but I don't like the default variant of it.

If I can,she will have red hair and green eyes. I might go with the default name unless I totally hate it. I just like playing as a female in the games that give you a choice because I have played so many games where I have to play as a male. So when I can,I go female for a different experience. Plus I find I like watching the character during events more when they are female. Dragon age is the only game where my main is not a female and that is because Morrigan wouldn't fall in love with my female noble when I first tried DA:O.
