1. Female Rogue, not with standard face. Hopefully archer will be a viable way to go, if not then DW.
2. Female Mage
3. Female Rogue again, then probably back to F mage

Don't know if I'll ever play Warrior since DW will be gone.

Custom Female Rogue, DW, with archery as a back up, with a neutral attitude until you tick her off.

If npc plays nice, she'll play nice, you want to be a badass, I'll oblige you. I will play this type until I achieve my goals for this type of character.

I think I'll do as I did in Origins: first time will be a custom female mage, then probably a custom female rogue! I don't think I'll ever do a warrior, but it will depend on how many warrior companions will be available ;)

Male, Warrior. Of course male, I mean, how many famous heroes were female? :)

Joanne d'Arc, Cleopatra (granted, she was a politician), some irish woman I've forgotten the name of (she fought the english, what else?), and in mythology there's tons of them. When XY just can't pull through, XX will always do

On topic: My first created character will be a custom (always plays custom), female, rouge and a racist (I love playing with them, they're so evil for no reasons, like skincolour. My dalish girl was a blast in court).
The first one I'll finish the game with though, will probably be male, goody-two-shoes OR human (i.e making mistakes and trying to fix them, and if he can't he'll wallow in self-pity) and a warrior or a mage...
Not sure why, but I always end up clearing the game with my male charcters first

Cleopatra was no hero (as you already stated), Joanna is a Frenchie and the latter one does not even bear a name to be famous enough ;D

She IS famous, there's even a song about her, it's just that the song is in gaelish (though I think Sinead O'Connor has made an english version of it) and I suck at remembering names :D   Cleopatra held Egypts independence from the Roman empire until she died, and I'm pretty sure William Wallace who did the same thing is seen as a hero, just because she didn't kill people that doesn't not make her a hero.... OK, maybe Gandhi is a better comparison :D    And what does nationality have anyting to do with things?

Male, warrior, dual weapon. Morals - on the fence rail: Depending on the situaton, could fall on either side (soft spot for kids tho'). Bottom line: Whatever it takes to get the job done. Armor - light to maybe medium later in the game. After first play through, I'll mix and match others. I've got 98 wardens in DAO (tried to play through all combinations of choices I could). I would have played through "all" choice combinations, but hunting season came in here.

Female Hawke, Sword-and-Board styled. Basically going to try and play her as Caska from Berserk, but without a silly name.

Caska Hawke sounds terrible.

Serzil Hawke, however, doesn't sound nearly as terrible. And will achieve my means just as easily! Also, Demons and Mages are on her 'to kill' list immediately.

Alternatively, Two-handed warrior Hawke named Kurutsal Hawke. Played as straight to the 'Guts' character as achievably possible, minus the gender bit since she will be female as well. This is alternative to the 'Caska' route, just in case my fancy looks at Two-handed weapons and goes 'YES, DAMMIT.' first before Sword and Board.

Female

Silver coloured default hair, tan skin

Rogue

Dual-wielding

[MUST] Romance Varric (or Isabela, 2nd Playthrough? Other choices include, Sketch and/or Arvid the Tap Dancing Squirrel [info in sig linky])

Assassin/Duelist (If given choice for both... Otherwise... Cannot decide T_T)

Chaotic Neutral

I changed my mind a couple of times now. I am sure i will start with Lady Hakwe but what class? I want to be a warrior for the kick ass armor that we saw in the trailer, a mage for the staff of parlath and a rogue...because i always played as a rogue first. But since i saw the armor being available for mage Hakwe as well i will do this:

1. Fem mage
2. Fem rogue
3. Fem warrior
4. A male watever (or just a female again!)

I think for my 1st playthrough i will go with Male Warrior to know how the story really plays out, and the armour is so great

then i will go with Female Warrior, cause everyone is saying Lady Hawke rocks, and she really does

i don't know for the 3rd, any suggestions ?!

Probably a Male Blood Mage...though knowing myself it'll probably end up being a Male Warrior. What can I say. I like swords.

I usually play a female and she'll be a rogue or a mage. I just like strong, kick ass women. That is, if I end up buying the game.

LadyHawke, default face (first time for this, since I normally custom...but she's already hawt as hell), and most likely a rogue since I believe they removed the dual-wielding warrior option?

She'll be uber-paragon in choice, with a humor/sarcasm tone.

I'd assume you're thinking of Gráinne Ní Mháille (Grace O'Malley to the English), the 'sea queen.' Or possibly Medb (Maeve) of Connaught, but she's more likely legendary than historical.

There was a recent musical about Grace O'Malley. It wasn't stellar, but it did run for a bit.

Well I'll have to hear some audio from both VA's because the reason my canonshep is fem is because Jennifer Hale is generally superior, that and Liara's hot.
