Stick-up-the-bum, can't-take-a-joke noble femhawke warrior.

Oh wait, that was my warden.

Probably Male Warrior Hawke and picking all the serious dour choices I can. And then probably female mage Hawke and going for the sarcastic options. That said my plans change quickly and I'll probably just end up making a character on the spot and going "that beard looks awesome, but it doesn't fit that sort of character, so I'll pick all these dialogue options to fit his beard!". Then promptly pick the dialogue options that don't fit his character anyway...

But I'm fairly certain that I'll go as a warrior to begin with, probably sword and board, just so I know he can take a beating readily enough.

She IS famous, there's even a song about her, it's just that the song is in gaelish (though I think Sinead O'Connor has made an english version of it) and I suck at remembering names :D   Cleopatra held Egypts independence from the Roman empire until she died, and I'm pretty sure William Wallace who did the same thing is seen as a hero, just because she didn't kill people that doesn't not make her a hero.... OK, maybe Gandhi is a better comparison :D    And what does nationality have anyting to do with things?

Or alternatively Cleopatra, a client queen of the Roman Empire (which loosely translates as: puppet dictator) invested too heavily in Roman powerplay and thanks to her own ambition destroyed Egyptian independence. With that one you can argue both ways. The other two are true though to a certain extent, but mainly you can't apply fantasy adventurer heroes to real historic figures because they're usually all jerks when you get down to it. :D

Tabitha(Tabby for short.) Hawke will be a snarky mage. ^_^

I also plan on making a smooth talking/diplomatic rogue named Blythe.

Male, human, warrior, two handed weapons, I didn't decide the personality yet. It will be chosen while playing the game. Normally I am not going to stick to a particular dialog option, it will depend on the situation.

Heavily based on the trailer:

Male Mage

Specializations: (If they even apply in DA2)

Battle Mage, Primal and Blood Mage

My first character will be a female Hawke, mage, with a non-default face. Then I'll make a female Hawke warrior and rogue to import my other two DAO playthrough choices into. xD Personalities I decide while playing the game.

Male Rogue > Female Mage(depending on if a battlemage or Arcane Warrior spec remains) > Male Warrior.

I never use the default face. If there is no arcane warrior/battlemage spec, then I will probably go mage last, unless it requires me to be on mage to unlock a class, like Blood Mage in Origins.

2 handed Warriors are the most boring class in the game IMHO, too bad about no more dual wield war. Or at the very least a new weapon, and I hate tanking in Single player games.

My first Hawke will porbably be:

Male
Default Appearence
Rogue
Assassin
Dual-Wielding

He will be a bit sarcastic when faced with enemies at the start, but if Carver dies then his personality hardens and turns into a man who strives to do good but will attempt to achieve it by any means necessary
If Carver does not die, then Hawke will generally still play a bit silly but lives up to his title as Champion.

If the Rouge dosn't cut it for me though I will try a serious type of Mage, wielding the Staff of Parlathan (if I ever get it).

I'm thinking my first play through is probably going to be a male two-handed warrior (unless mage pulls me to the contrary). I know there's a pretty strong current of animosity towards the changes they've made to this class, but to me it looks a hell of a lot more fun than the origins two-hander.

Fem Hawke ( using the default face )

Rouge

Good character

Comedy mask as much as possible

Saving Carver

I'll do the first play without importing any of my finished wardens endings, just so see how that plays out. The second playthrough I'll use one of my wardens games. Don't know how much that will really differ but it'll be fun just to take a look.

I'll be a chaotic good male mage who typically aims towards helping others, but is not impervious to a good bribe. As for the mage, I want to be as pure of a caster as I can so if the battlemage spec. is available, I'll definitely go down that route. Otherwise, no specialization for me.

Male customed faced sword'n board Hawke.

Had enough of dual wielding and rogues in Origins. Plus some of the standards on those shields are too sexy to pass up.

Oh, and as for mindset... idk. My Hawke will probably be a anti-mage zealot like all my chars. Just hate mages.

Kill Connar.

Female sword and shield warrior. Then male sword and shield warrior. Then I'll try a mage, maybe. I prefer s&s, though. Don't care for playing rogues. Impossible to say more than that at this point (re characterization), except that she/he will be good, and have a hate on for blood magic. I never use presets, so appearance will be whatever feels right at the time.

Dual dagger wielding rogue fem!Hawke first. Then male mage Hawke. Warriors are extremely low on my list, but maybe after a couple of runs I'll be a 2H. S&S is my most hated class to play, so probably never S&S unless it's particularly interesting in DA2. Anyway, rogue Hawke will probably be "good", but more on the selfish side and have as wicked a sense of humor as I can give her. Probably will get along famously with the likes of Isabela and Varric. I want to use lots of poisons and traps and stealth plz.

Goody. You can balance out the cosmic forces screaming in agony over my change of direction. ;) I was originally going to go a similar route and posted as much on page three of this thread. I changed my mind since then. I still plan to go with a blood mage, but more of a kooky fence sitter with a focus on creation magic (assuming the schools exist as they did) and a smattering of mind affecting spells.

I'm rolling with custom male rogue Hawke first for my DE US import to get a feel for the game. My mindset will be "Conan the Barbarian". Then I'm rolling with vanilla Mage "trailer" Hawke for my "canon" HN/WC DR import he will be "Ridley Scott's Robin Hood".

Probably femHawke as a warrior, until I have the basics down. I don't really fancy playing mHawke with the voice-over and all, but that's just how I roll.
