When will the next party member be announced? All I know so far are Varric, Cassandra, and Bethany.

Actually it doesn't seem likely that Cassandra is a party member, at least not until very near the end of the game if at all. Hence the reason for her interrogating Varric about what Hawke is like. Since she doesn't know him herself.

Well they can be...like *spoiler alert!* Loghain from DAO.

And I do think it would have been interesting not to know of Zevran before actually meeting him in-game.

We know about Varric and Pirate Chick as party members, and that's it.

Highly unlikely. The game takes place, for the most part, in the Free Marches, and the Aeducan house is pretty firmly based in Ferelden. Also, in the latest podcast, Mr. Gaider himself seemed to indicate that surface Dwarves would play more of a part than underground ones: "We're not going into any underground Dwarven thaig."

Who said anything about announcements?  Forum hints dropped by you and others are good enough for me.

Also will they auto-level?I mean 5 years after you meet  Pixie  ,  you do a quest for her with her and well *AHEM* she's  around my  level.. Yet she talk about how she was a cook during all that time.Did she grind those noodle?

3 + Hawke.

I imagine it's that many because there are 3 classes, so it's enough to let you have at least one of each, regardless of what your Hawke is. But too many would become unwieldy, and I'm not just referring to UI concerns (although they are significant on their own).

You did say Varric is a party member! And Bethany is a party member for at least a segment of the game.

Cassandra, no. I would like to know more about her, however. I dig her sense of style. :happy:

as much as I couldn't for DAO and can't help myself from looking now. I think it would be cool not to see too much about possible party members. I would much rather get a vid with some dialog from the Hawkeses.

Can... can I propose marriage to you? If you're already married or dating I'm totally cool with Polyandry, just ignore my proposed DA2 dev team orgy and these 3 cartons of menthols. They mean nothing to me.

It certainly looks like it *could* be a Qunari mage. Which would be really awesome. I hope we get a Qunari of some description as a companion. Impossible to tell who the others might be. How do you know it's a dude?

And thats the 2nd person in as many minutes that have told me that I am a bit daffy. I'm like a parasite that gets under people's skin but it looks like a really interesting tattoo and thus don't really worry about me being there.
