will it be possible to have 6 persons in team, or, like in DA:O only 4 ?
As it stands, I think the party size of 4 is hardcoded with no way to change it. If it could be done, other modders already would have done so by now. What we possibly could do though is kind of a cheat workaround. You may have seen the mod Extra Dog Slot for Origins which allows you to have Dog in the party as a summoned creature, yet still interject in conversations, take part in party banter and be able to be spoken to just like any other party member. The downside is he doesn't show up in the tactics or inventory windows, but otherwise you essentially have a 5 member party. Something similar to that could be a potential avenue for us to explore, but I can't make any promises at this stage, especially given I don't have anything to do with scripting (I'm just a lowly modeller).
N.B. Be aware that you can add unlimited party members via console command, but they don't have any HUD elements and don't interact etc. As I said, the game is hardcoded to only expect 4 party members.

Silly Question from someone with little to no knowledge of the series: How much of the story is covered here?
This really is just a taste of BG2. Chapter 1 places you into the story, gets you familiar with some of the backstory and character relationships, and a basic understanding of the controls (interestingly adapted here for DA!)
There is at least 10X more to go!

Everything is a bit up in the air at the moment as while we've spoken about it briefly, we have obviously been primarily focused on getting module 1 out the door. Now that's done, so we can look to the next module. Once the team has recharged their batteries we'll get together and hash out a plan and let people know how we are going to tackle it. Look for some more detailed info to surface around Xmas time.

I specially enjoyed the cutscenes, that help a lot in engaging you more in the story than the original game did, with only the dialog and portraits.
And you acomplished one thing that I thought was impossible... regard Jaheira as a possible love interest... lol Back in the original she looked like a fish, poor thing, just like Aerie... Now she looks smoking hot...
I would only advise you to change the music of the trailer (it is far too bland and generic I think, it lacks epicness... unfortunately I cant think of any cool alternatives than perhaps Peer Gynts "Hall of the Mountain King", that has a great build-up and has no copyright issues I guess...
One little thing bothers me... I couldnt use either the Wands or the Air Elemental statuette (and so couldnt open the Gennies' pocket plane....) Is this a bug, I wonder?
One sidenote non related to the Redux version... I totally had forgotten how the dialog and character interaction went down in Baldurs Gate... I am in awe of how Bioware's writers have improved over the years... The Dragon Age interaction is by far much more engaging and better written ( of course, cinematics do help...).
more sidenotes... Heres a link to a Community Trading-Game site in which you can get Baldurs Gate II, if youre interested, for very little money or by exchanging it for another game ( theres more than 30 copies offered). Ive been a member here for almost 10 years, lots of cool people:

Finishing Irenicus' dungeon is the equivalent of leaving your starter town with Duncan in Origins. You're maybe 2-3% done with the game.

But this, this was so much fun i played it twice.
Someone asked a question wether the the engine limits the party to only 4 members. I don't remember seing the answer, and that's something I'd really like to know.

Yes Wally29054 character party is hardcoded. There are some ways to workaround that, but the other members wont be fully controllable. We are looking into options to extend the party... no guarantees, will have to wait and see what can be done cleanly.
Grrr Bioware! Why do you torture me so?!
No worries, this thnig looks great even with 4 char party

You should be able to use all the wands, when testing I could disarm all those traps, and we're not changing the trailer music now =P

air elemental statue - I haven't heard of a problem getting into the air pocket plane before. are you sure you picked it up? if so, then we'd need more information and possibly your save file, though if nobody else can reproduce its unlikely to be fixed.

I really hope that you will find a workaround to have a 6 person party.
Vote: 10/10.
Just one question: how do you develop the class system? Mind, it's not bad but since it's not AD&D and it's not DA:O, it does feel a little bit limited and arbitrary. Maybe I'm wrong but imho you should use the basic class system of DA:O and handle special classes or multiclasses with specialization.
PS: Projects like yours and the Lazarus one show that there would be a lot of potential for classic remakes. I wonder why big companies do not see that potential too.
