since video games are starting to have Live action commercial I came up with an idea for one that oculd be used for the build up to ME3. Mass effect is one of the best games when it comes to immersing the player with facial customization, background and mental customization as well as the hundreds of dialouge options and decisions. so it oculd basically play on that which multiple people of all colors, ehtnicities, heights, builds and languages saying "I'm commander Shepard" and then at the end Mark Meer and Jen Hale go "and this is how our story ends." since ME3 is the end of Commander shepards story and it would also put a certain someone in the marketing for mass effect's final game. this was though of no more than 5 minutes from the time stamp on this post. Thoughts?

That would be pretty nice, actually. Could probably use a little tweaking from the marketing guys but, I think it's a great jumping-off point.

It's a good idea. I don't see it happening b/c OMG THEY HAVE TO ALWAYS HAVE SHEPLOO OR PEOPLE WILL GET CONFUZZLED, but, your idea would be awesome.

This is an awful idea. All those customisation options will confuse and scare away potential customers. And the notion of Shepard being female? Scandalous! No wai, Bioware should stick to the hooligan douchebag image for Shepard, or else!

I think this could be a good idea, but with each person saying it do you mean with their real face or their Shepard's face? If its their real face, that can work. But as for market advertisements, they have stated in interviews that they use default image Shepard for mass marketing purposes. To get around that, I think the Voice actors Meer and Hale can appear on last, thus a specific reference to a particular shepard can be avoided.

I mean the real face for the live action commercial. like how Halo and Medal of honor had live action trailers for their games this summer and fall. like Real people with N7 shirts saying "I'm commander Shepard" one after another until you get Meer and Hale in the same shot saying the last line.

They should have the studios that made Halo Reach "Deliver Hope" make it. I can only remember Legacy Effects and Method studios. They can just have Shepard's helmet on the whole time.

Well it would certainly kill Halo's monopoly on the practice. Although the only problem is that "this is how our story ends" could register with people as to close to "this is how the world ends" which is similarly quietly said at the end of the live action Halo 3 commercials. But none the less I did the idea!



They could have Shepard going through boot camp while people yell at him in Hungarian and then go through a firefight where he gets "hardened" all to the theme of a Welsh battle-shanty about having all of your friends die in battle. Aw sh*t, that's already been done. I have no ideas........
