I've also seen similar style commercial- but it was for Dove(beauty creams) or Master Card or a printer.
soooooo.... sounds like a good idea but the public need to know its a game.

if you think about it, the live action Halo commercials never really told you the story of reach. one was of the leader getting his augmentation, another was of the building of noble teams statue and the other was a battle before reach. the difference between commercials and trailes is commercials tell you the game exists, the trailers tell you what the game is about.tennyochan wrote...
i dunno... might confuse people especially those new to the series. You don't want to automatically cut part of your market out. Plus it doesn't really tell you anything about Part3.

^yes but the commercial idea- the showing/flashing people of "multiple people of all colors, ehtnicities, heights, builds and languages" without much context- even with the i'm commander shepard. (context is what i meant more than the exact plot, sorry)ADLegend21 wrote...

like i mentioned, I've already seen other commercials use a similar format.
it could 'work' if maybe they showed various shepards in settings of ME3 doing something(omega, cit etc), then showing the default shepard at the end.(v reapers)
also consider halo characters are more iconic/recognizable in terms of character design than shepard- probably because of the helment and not being able to customize his face, giving viewers context.
i'm just suggesting the issues that could be for marketing.
But live action(movie actors)+game-scenes commercials seem to be the fad (resistance)

Cant seem to remeber what for but i do specificly remeber the ''And this is how it ends'' being said.
If so dont expect it to be done... you cant steal other peoples ideas to promote your own stuff.

I would love to see a Blur trailer on TV if not this idea. They're epic, and I have yet to see one on tv. So sad. People would probably get upset with false advertising on the graphics though. They aren't quite that good in game I suppose, but they're close.

ooo that's also a good idea. I really hope Bioware would at least give these options a try.MisterDyslexo wrote...
How about one where you have all kinds of different people in )different /customized?) N7 armour, doing stuff in place of Shepard and arguing what they should do. Just imagine like 20 people dressed up in N7 armour arguing whether they should knee Conrad in the groin, shoot him in the foot, tell him to ****** off, flirt with him, headbutt him, etc. Just to show off all the different choices. And everybody is referred to as "Shepard" with a little name-pin stuck to their armour
