Do the DEVS get offended by complaints about the game?

Besides, our tears do fuel their coffee pot after all.

That and I don't say anything I wouldn't say in person, not that that's any safeguard, I've been banned for things I say in real life all the time, the internet negates my personal charm it seems.

I don't think they'd be in this industry if they had a soft skin, honestly.

Pretty much said it all here.

Personal insults, though? Those niggle. Not like we're going to burst into tears, but I will admit to a few eyerolls whenever anyone musters up the urge to refer to us as stupid / out to [verb] [noun] because we hate game play or implies that we're making choices in the look/design of the game out of some urge to punish the PC/Console/Atari 2600 crowd.

I mean, it's their work of art. When someone insults what you put countless hours into completing, it's typical to get very offended.
I don't mean to sound like an **** here, but not really. While things like Comment Fatigue DO occur, it's generally not a productive response to **** and moan about somebody that doesn't like your work, or even get upset. So somebody doesn't like your ****? No big deal. Take whatever criticism that is there which is productive (if any at all), and move forward.

Well yes, but usually people who complain are also people who care. Or they could just ignore it. So I think the question is not whether Bioware gets annoyed, but rather how to make a proper complaint. It's almost funny how people seem to think shouting gets them anywhere, especially in the internet. As if people would only disagree because something is wrong with their ears.

We all know that more constructive feedback is good for developers. How ever, do we all customers understand that all our feedback is also based our own personal taste and way to look situations and it's not allways same view point or taste what other customers have. So, it's up to developers see the all different view points what customers have and how much every taste or view points are supported. Also we customers here in forum are the most active ones, but also minority.
Customers allways become more negative when something goes to direction they don't like. More passion they have to something, more emotional they seem to be.

Stage = Lothering
Little Pellets = Villagers
Ghosts = Hawke and other refugees who can fight back.
Let the battle of Lothering commence!

After reading about Jesse Houston and Christina Norman's struggles with Gave Dev Story I so wanted to Tweet a joke, "Looks like they need to 'dumb down' Game Dev Story for the game developer crowd."
But didn't because I figured they'd think I was insulting them and not the people on the forums who break out those same criticisms.

Whine demons aren't well understood. Its suspicious that we haven't seen lore about them.

But generally, I've got a pretty thick skin. Having someone curse at you because they dropped their 2000 dollar television and I won't replace it for free gives you a pretty hefty immunity to being insulted.

Oh, I've got four and a half years of selling televisions at a major electronics retailer. The stories abound. Some of them I don't entirely believe, and I was there for them. I've occasionally considered writing a book - between myself and the other people I know who were in a similar situation, I could fill a few hundred pages without issue.
But I digress - I'm getting off-topic!
