Why is ME2 Updating All The Time?

Ive gone for a final ME2 playthrough before I set it aside and wait for ME3. I have played four times this week and every time I load the game, I get disconnected for an update. I have over 100gb spare on my H/D so its not due to something not getting saved and I doubt BW have released so many updates. Can anybody shed any light on this? Never done this before. Having put ME2 on again this evening, I got another update. Im confused

do you keep clearing the cache? if so every time you do it will delete all the game updates.

Mr hankey 1083 is right but also any other game that updates for some reason some times out updates me2 sometimes.did that to me while ago.then it finally stopped.i hear depending on how old your consol is the more/less it dos it

Updates are actually kept in a smalll hard drive on your system itself. If you've played another game that has had updates they will have potentially over written that space.

I havent cleared the cache or at least I dont think I have. Haven't deleted anything either. Yes another game has updated but this is the 1st time I have experienced this prob. I will load the game up and see if it wants to update again, when I get in from work. I know that I had another game update last night so ill see if that theory fits.

Yeah, there have been many updates this week. The first update removed the flying dragons from Freedom's Progress, the 2nd update allowed the Normany to be flown at the correct warp speed, and the 3rd update sorted out the blasphemic language used by Grunt during his loyality mission.

Well I've played it twice since and now no more updates and I haven't done anything at all. Very Strange. Thanks for trying to help me get to bottom of it.
