LadyHawke looks a lot younger than MaleHawke, in my opinion.
I'd say maybe... late teens to early twenties at the beginning of the story.
Women should always look younger, even if they are really older, and you should always say they look younger even if they don't really look younger. We use creams, or maybe tree sap. :innocent:
A: Because they're forty.
Well, maybe, but someone once thought my grandmother was my mom and my mom was my sister. Both of my grandparents had good genes,

Anyway I'd say he's like twenty-something at the start of the game.

Someone once thought me 30 years old back when I was just 16. Then again, I'm male. I don't know what should be called a good gene in my case.

Also, 'back in the day' people usually didn't move out often when they reached adulthood.
While it does depend on the culture, that is more of a modern invention.
More like the North American style. In Japan living with your parents until you're married it's not a *bad thing*.
It's more because of the media the bad stereotype and simply put the social pressure of being independant .
Before though family was a very important thing. It's come before individuality and personnal success.

I guess let your imagination decide. Unless it comes up with something foolish, like Alistair is 30 or the Warden is 72.
If it says something like that tell it to stop being so stupid.

I sort of liked your joke, but I have a weird sense of humor.
I think if my son looked older, I'd want to do the same thing to him. Of course I don't have a son, just a most wonderful step-daughter. I suggested keeping her locked up in a safe room till she was 18, but she said no thanks. Wouldn't let me wrap her up in cotton either, I think, society wise, guys can look older and still be considered attractive and sexy. To drag myself back on topic, :innocent:
To me most of the screenshots of Hawke looks around 28, but I don't know if it is from the beginning of the game, middle or end. Seems like a lot of people, myself included, think we will start out in his middle 20's. Which is ok. I like playing characters in their late 20's early 30's.

Hawke's not a kid. As long as she has her own room, mom will be fine. Mom will probably tell Hawke to be using protection because she doesn't want to take care of kids while Hawke is gallivanting around the country.

Mom knocks on door: Hawke dear, you have any dirty laundry?
Hawke: Mom! I'm with my lady friend.
Mom: Sorry, sorry, there's pie down stairs when your're done.
Hawke goes back to what he is doing.
Beth yells from the other room : Hey keep it down in there, I'm trying to get my spells of done! Of all the times you could have have sex.....
Hawke: You keep it down!
Hawke a few minutes later: Carver, have you been watching us the whole time! Get the **** outta here before I kick your *** you sick little ****!

Judging by the default Male Hawke appearance... and because of that dazzling beard... I'd want to go with 30 as a round about number, but if the game is going to take place over ten years then I doubt our butt kicking champion of Kirkwall will be forty by the end of the game, so a safe bet would be mid to late twenties. On the other hand, I'm sure that with a customized appearance Hawke could look as young as twenty or so.
If he's fit and healthy I see no reason why he can't kick ass until he's 50! I know plenty of men and women who are over 50 and still look like they are 35! Fitness and Health does alot, and I'm sure Hawke's rutine is no exeption. Plus 40 is stil relativily young. Riodarn and Duncan would be about 38 I think.

Yes! 54 that's it.
I've never quite understood why anyone would take a guess at someone's age. i mostly say I'm no good at judging ages. There is always the chance I'll guess the person is older, which would suck and sound rather rude and yet people always ask, "how old do you think he/she is". Maybe it's a leftover from the carnival days when the guy would give you something if he guessed your age or weight wrong.

I think I will measure Hawke's age by his beard. Hmm.. now what age would a person have to be to have an epic beard...
And I had one such beard when I was like 21, so I don't suggest you rely on it.

He has a similar beard to Duncan, who would have been in his 40s in Origins. Not sure if you want to use that as a metric or not for age but it is a pretty good guage on how awesome a male character can be. Granted, Varric is a nice exception to that rule too. Blasted rules, they were made to be broken!

Yes, clearly I was being super serious about suggesting that I would guesstimate his age based on how long it would take him to grow out a thick bread like that.Ortaya Alevli wrote...
