I'd say Hawke look about mid-thirties and Lady Hawke look about mid to late-twenties. Must be all products she is using.

Duncan went through the Joining at the age about 18, that was about 8 years after Maric and Co were in Deep Roads. So he should be 40-41 as I understand

CALLED IT. The beginning of DA2 has you as a fledgling teenager and your main quest is to grow a full beard within those 10 years. It won't be easy though, as Flemeth will require your beard for a ritual later on and your companion females all hate guys with beards and will try to shave you. You must stop them at all costs.

Well. Gamlen says that Leandra has been away 25 years. And Hawke is clearly older than Beth/Carver, like not by just a year. So my hunch is 23 or so

Hawke is certainly not 15 when the story begins--a 15 year old is still (or hasn't yet) going through puberty. Hawke's relationship with the siblings suggests s/he is the oldest. So probably 20 at the start, 30 by the end. And Duncan/Riordan are much older than 38. A 38 year old wouldn't look that weathered unless he's been smoking and drinking all his life.

Except people have good reason to say Duncan is 38. He was 18 in the Calling, and the Calling took place 20 years before Origins. I think people are assuming with Riordan. He went through the Joining at the same time as Duncan, and so people are assuming Duncan and Riordan are the same age.

It is my belief that they lived in a farm near Lothering and decided to leave when the Blight started. About my own Hawke, I decided he was a year or two older from the twins, so he would be around twenty four or so by the start and thirty four or so by the end.

Bethany and Carver are 18. Hawke is no younger than 20 and no older than 24.

I'd place both the Warden and Hawke between 23-30. Shepard was what, 29 in the first ME right ? I'd also peg Revan and the Spirit Monk in the 23-30 range as well.

I think the Spirit Monk might be late teens to early 20's (probably not above 22 or so). The reason I say this is because Dawn Star says at some point in the game something along the lines of "Master Li brought you here 20 years ago (to Two Rivers)". Most of the students there seemed to be fairly young as well, so it would feel out of place if SM was anywhere near 30 IMO.

It's amusing that Hawke can be designed as an elderly character yet it makes no sense when compared to the rest of his/her family. At that point they might as well of just allowed for more racial options too in character creation or ditched the character creator entirely and made Hawke a well written, set character that the NPCs could therefore have better interactions with.

According to the Legacy DLC, Leandra was pregnant at the time that she was imprisoned in the Vimmark Mountains, and since they left Kirkwall 25 years before the start of the game, Hawke should be around 24-25 in the first Act. Leandra says that Carver was eighteen when he died (if he dies in the beginning), so Bethany and Carver are five or six years younger than Hawke.
