I wonder though if ordering it overseas will get it to you on the launch day? I'd happily pay $4 or $8 extra to play it as soon as possible.

No matter how much less Dragon Age 2 is from JB I wouldn't trust anything from JB actually working =P

You know what leonia I find myself agreeing with you. I might have a look around and see what I can dig up.

So far, the best local deal is GAME at  $84 and free shipping.

Pretty sure the EA store will only have a downloadable version if/when they update their website so that might end up being cheaper for folks who aren't keen to get a hard-copy/

If that's the price, I'd probably wind up going with EBGames anyway. I'm pretty sure that down the track they'll offer some interesting exclusives.

Well, at least you can buy the Signature Edition... Don't get me wrong, I know what it means to be overcharged for games, because they cost a lot where I live. But at least you weren't given the EA middle finger for the collector's edition. :/

Ok from the states we can get it for $60 AUD (could change but our dollar is strong at the moment) but $32 postage. It'll take one day to process then it will take 3-5 working days depending on your location. So either way we're still better off getting it from Australia.

Would've posted three hours ago but I had to take my sister to her Leavers Dinner for High school :P

As much as I want to play Dragon Age 2, like I want to play it right now as it is looking so good =P I think I'll still buy it from my local EB's. Mostly because they like me there =P

I still don't understand how so many people manage to overlook this and this.

OzGameshop hasn't given a price, yet.  But, I'm sure it'll be cheap.

Since most of my local stores have pretty much shrunk the PC sections to the back wall of the staff toilets (and keep suggesting I buy an PS3) and I refuse to buy digital, I'll be purchasing from overseas by the look of it.

It's not so bad, just don't get it on day dot.

EDIT: Just updating to say that ozgameshop.com has released their price for the PC Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition and it is 44.99 AUD, cheaper than dvd.co.au. Thanks to iShreav for the info (see 10 posts down.)

Yes, ozgameshop.com is cheap, but after comparing the prices of a few of its PC games to dvd.co.uk – including Dragon Age 2, Signature Edition – I've found that dvd.co.uk wins.

At dvd.co.uk, the PC non-Signature Edition is 31.03 GBP, including shipping, which currently converts to 49.8828 AUD.

The PC Signature Edition is 31.07 GBP, including shipping, which currently converts to 49.9450 AUD.

I don't know why they're charging a few more cents for the Signature Edition, but who cares, because I think it's still cheaper than you'd find anywhere else!

Note: When you search the dvd.co.uk site for Dragon Age 2, it will show the PC non-SE as being 34.95 GBP and the PC SE as being 34.99 GBP, but when you actually take the items to the checkout page, they will be the cheaper price that I mentioned earlier in this post.

Interesting. Now I'm torn. Do I buy for cheap from the UK or do I buy from Australia and get the game for launch day. Decisions!!

I'm doing a pretty good job at restraining my desire to purchase so far, I can probably hold out a bit longer. Does anyone have a time-machine? Would really like it to be March already :)

You should try living in the UK, we get shafted on prices and we don't have sunshine or koala bears to compensate for it. :(

Yeah but I'd trade Canberra for London any day. Plus you guys have some awesome music groups that don't tour here all that often.

I can't comment on Canberra but if you would swap it for London it must be pretty bad, I personally can't stand London, it is in my opinion the worst city I have ever been to, being english I wish it wasn't so, every time I have ever been there (luckily only a few times) I couldn't wait to get away from the place, I almost feel infected in some way from being there, like i'm going to get some disease that turns me into an emotionless coin-operated robot.

We do have good music that is true, but while many of our bands may not tour Australia at least you can still get access to the music in some way or another.

We have our very own 'London' in Australia.  It's called Sydney and it's a hole.

I'm from the Gold Coast.  ;D

Also, I'm losing the ability to refrain myself from getting this game as a preorder...  Especially when the price is so nice from OZGameShop...  D:
