Random question - Is there any chance of another Dragon Age: Origins soundtrack (besides the short one from Leliana's Song next tuesday). I know that that there's still a bunch of unreleased music from the game (maybe even a lot of songs from Awakenings? I haven't played the expansion, so I can't be sure), and I would love to be able to get my hands on some of it (for example, the song from when you're combating the undead in Redcliff). DA:O has only had around an hour of music released so far, while all of the Mass Effect 2 soundtracks total up to around 2 hours and 50 minutes...

Not that I want to sound ungrateful, but...Do we have -all- the music available now? And for what reason could we not get the whole thing in one soundtrack?
And on a note of personal interest, have actual CDs just officially gone the way of the dinosaur?
I don't really -like- buying digital albums. I buy albums as much for a physical collectible as for the music. I might be something of a dinosaur in that respect, but it's still the way I feel.
So, seriously, officially, has Bioware just decided that CDs aren't worth it?

I have to say, the songs on the soundtrack actually sound a LOT crisper and better than the ones that play in-game.
For example, I can hear the underlying synth and percussion providing more balance to each piece in the soundtrack, whereas I had a hard time hearing them in the game.

He is, indeed...but let's not forget David Kates, Sam Hulick, and Jimmy Hinson. Of course, Jack Wall is the lead composer at Wall of Sound, but it would be wrong not to give the other three their due credit.
For the main soundtrack: Jack Wall, 14 tracks, ~50 minutes worth; Sam Hulick, 5 tracks, ~23 minutes worth; David Kates, 3 tracks, ~17 minutes worth; Jimmy Hinson, 5 tracks, ~24 minutes worth.
Of course, that's for the originally released music, and Jack Wall likely composed more than his share of the music that is on the Combat compilation, but a keen ear can tell that most of these newly compiled tracks are from themes composed by the other three composers.

Agreed. I always prefer to buy physical CDs. There's something unique about physically posessing the music, plus I always enjoy reading the liner notes. If this is actually all of the ME2 music, I think it would make sense to release it on a 3 disc set (2 discs for the original release, and 1 disc for Atmospheric/Combat).

I live in Ireland so Amazon won't let me buy music.
I don't want to install Apple software that doesn't let me do what I want with the music I paid for, so iTunes is out. (If someone has more up-to-date info that says iTunes is a-okay, though, lay it on me.)
Isn't there another option for ways to sell this music? I'd really like to buy it. :-)

It seems BW/EA really likes to tease their fans. This soundtrack should have been available as a whole since the initial release of the game >.<

As much as I love the score to this game, that's the same reason I refuse to buy the albums.

Cool. I've thought for a while about getting some of the ME2 soundtracks. Definitely Long Walk.

Anyone else buying from iTunes having the program lock and crash when downloading then missing some of the songs on the album? This happened with the Atmospheric soundtrack as well.
