By then she is the (uncrowned) queen. So no, not a murder. Being uncrowned does not invalidate her queenship.

She's going to be queen anyway, so I don't think there would be consequences even it was technically murder.

But yes, I believe that the simple announcement from the Warden doesn't make her a fully legitimized queen.

If it makes Alistair king, thus giving him the authority to sentence Loghain and have Anora imprisoned to be executed if he survives, the same authority belongs to Anora.

On the other hand, you can say the same thing about the "hero of River Dane."

The "Hero of River Dane" has a hand in his own downfall. Alistair is simply an angry, innocent young man.

Alistair demanding the throne so he can kill Loghain is not innocent. If you choose Anora, he becomes a threat, like Mary Queen Of Scots was a threat to Elizabeth I. Elizabeth eventually had Mary executed for that reason. And Anora has the pragmatism to do it before he can endanger her rule further. Harsh, sure. But understandable. I never let her do it though. ;)

I think that in Return to Ostagar, it turns out that Eamon was encouraging Cailain to dump Anora and marry the Orlesian empress, effectively vassalizing Ferelden to their old oppressors while probably giving Eamon a nice spot of extra power.

Eamon was encouraging Cailan to dump Anora and remarry, so there might be a Theirin heir. It is never stated anywhere that Eamon wanted Cailan to marry Celene. I fail to see how this would fit into Eamon's agenda. He wants a Theirin heir and a fair bit of influence if possible, the 38-y-o Emperess of Orlais is certainly not  a candidate Eamon would approve of.

Unless you think Ferelden is lost without Anora as the secret administrator behind the puppet king, I don't see how encouraging Cailan to divorce Anora is such a terrible thing.

Remember Katharine of Aragon? A loyal, competent queen consort being pushed aside so the king could get his blasted male heir. Morally it's despicable. Besides, Anora is not even 30 yet. (Katharine was past 40 and the people of her kingdom as well as other nations were still outraged)

The CE and DC, though, had horrible lives.

I don't think the CE's childhood was necessarily too bad.  Materially, they seem to be relatively well off as City Elves go - which isn't saying much, of course - Cyrion has enough to pay the dowry for a good match for his child anyway.  They've got a loving father, and for much of their life had a loving mother too.  They've got a couple of good friends too in Shianni and Soris.

Actually I kind of roleplayed all my characters as having good lives up to their origin...I couldn't come up with a good excuse for DC or DN though.

That would have been an interesting scenario, which would have opened up a lot of new RP options. (1) Alistair says "Ah, I see now, yes, let's recruit him and then make him sacrifice himself"; (2) the PC convinces Alistair to let Loghain live by pointing out that he could be the sacrifice; (3) Alistair still refuses because he doesn't want Loghain to get any of the "glory"; (4) Alistair refuses anyway because he just hates Loghain that much and refuses to work with him in any capacity. Additional RP nuances could also manifest in whether or not Riordan, Alistair and the PC choose to let Loghain in on their little secret, or just let him sacrifice himself unknowingly. Perhaps the PC could originally choose to keep silent but then change his or her mind later and perhaps have a falling out with Alistair over it. So many possibilities. . .

. . .and perhaps that's why Riordan keeps his mouth shut until after Landsmeet. Maybe the game developers just didn't have time to deal with all those options.

I guess, but I really wish they did! :(However they make Riordan assume we already knew the cost of killing the arch demon. We all know what assuming does, lol! It always irks me he waits until after the landsmeet to have that talk with you and Alistair. I feel like that's the first thing he should have done after we got back to the estate. I dunno, it's no use dwelling on what could have been, *sigh*. :?

Save Ferelden, sure, and die in the process if necessary; but he's very much *not* the Dead Man Walking that I had expected. More like Extremely Vital and Energetic Warrior Sprinting.

LOL!!! We'll see, I really like Loghain from the books and yet in the game he pissed me off, but I still had respect for his character. I feel like killing the arch demon cleans his reputation would sort of purifies his legendary awesome status. I dunno, we'll see I might get really attached to him in this play through.

Plus I still haven't played Witch Hunt so I'm nervous, lol.

The guy cant fight (He killed just one darkspawn on his joinning) and Duncan knows that what keep him from fighting not his blood as he claim...then all he dose is complaint and stuppid comments ...

I WISH I CAN ASK HIM TO LEAVE like other companions but guess not...

LOL!

He got exposed to Lyrium but instead of becoming vague he is like on a constant high, where his emotions are raw.
He also was a kleptomaniac who robbed from everyone, and thought that Alistair was the Paragon Aeducan.

He can fight real well (with two maces), but sometimes he can find the way out of his tent in the morning.

Okay seriously this is one of the greatest back stories for a character I've heard about on these forums! Is that character the one in your user profile?

No that is Cyrus my violent City Elf, part Jack Sparrow/Jack Bauer/ Colonel Jack O'Neill.

Bob is too crazy to be uploaded ever.
This is for when he met Morrigan:

Morrigan: Well, well what is this-
Bob: AAAHAHAHAHA!!! A WITCH! SHE WILL EAT ME!!
Daveth: You know for a short fellow, he has got quite a vertical.
Alistair, Morrigan, and Jory all Facepalm.

He ended up with Leliana because frankely Morrigan scared the sodding stone out of him.

Fun to play but I had to really imagine a different PC than I was used to.
Its also funny to realize there is a Paragon Bob, who is nuttier than squirrel turds, yet people all respect him now.
