So . . . question: When playing legacy dlc, do you think Warden!Surviving Sibling would be a more interesting companion to bring along, or prefer Circle Bethany/Templar Carver, or does it not matter?

I can never bring myself to leave Carver behind, so he's always a warden. :P

As for being more interesting....I wonder if it will depend on when we can undertake the mission (Act 1 or 3) and where we are on the friend/rival path with them.

I don't think I like Templar Carver, so I think Warden Carver would be more interesting.

I would imagine that Warden Carver will be more interesting to bring along for the DLC, since we'll be fighting darkspawn and possibly running into Warden-y stuff.

Question about Warden!Carver, what happens to him after the events of the game? Mainly what are the consequences of his participation when siding with mages/or templars? Wardens aren't suppose to involved themselves in politics. Can he go back? Do the wardens punish him? If siding with mages, does he become a fugitive like the rest?

Since Cassandra doesn't really seem to have further knowledge of him when I sided with mages, I assume he's on the run, same as Hawke.

No idea. I just assumed that he went back to the wardens, consequences be damned.

I don't think we know what happens to anybody after the game. Varric says they all went their separate ways except for the LI, who apparently goes with Hawke.  I would have loved it if Carver went with me too.

On a side note, I totally died today (in game obviously! :P) just to hear Carver yell "No!"

Just playing through my first run with Carver. Given all the hate there was for him when the game first came out i was expecting him to be terrible. In fact i find him much better than Bethany. The sibling friction really worked well.

He is wonderful to tease     =)    I have a couple of mage-Hawkes and all of them love their brother to bits. So far I have only rivaled him but I wonder how big a difference it is on the other path.

I just love Hawke's ****y baby brother. I hate him, but love him. I want to hug this bastard to death.
I'm looking forward to DLC, and more "Hawke's brothers inc. Championship and Wardening buisness". Or ability to shout at him for being a templar.

Yeah, this is the part of the DLC I'm really looking forward to, since I cannot bring myself to ever leave Carver behind to become a Templar, even though I'm curious about the differences in Act 2 and 3.  And since we know that he can come along even after Act 1 and before the end of Act 3, it's even better.

Guess who's coming with my Hawke to the latest dlc =)

Fixing the last things with this FemHawke so that she'll be ready to go. This was the first time I got to see Carver meeting up with my Hawke on the way to the final battle . Such a sweet conversation. You can't really read it but on the pic he says "But... you're the only family I have left. I have to stand by you. Just say the word and you'll have my blade".

*sniffle* lill Carver is all grown up =) can't wait for legacy

added:   Oki. Playing through legacy now and warden Carver has wonderful banter! Go ahead and bring him with you   =)

Legacy was as good as I had hoped it would be. Lots of great dialogue between snarky Hawke and Carver.

Yep, tons of Carver!

I think my favorite part was in the very beginning where Snarky Hawke and Varric are trading jokes.  Carver attempts to join in with a very weak joke, while Hawke and Varric just exchange glances.  It's adorable.

Loved having Carver with me when playing Legacy! He made me tear up with some of his dialogue! I thought it played really well with him being a Grey Warden. I wonder what his templar dialogue is like.

Yes, Carver should definitely stick with the snark. Image IPB

The scene at the end was very touching, though.

Loved, loved, Templar Carver in Legacy. <3
Also, I don't think I'll ever bring him to the DR after this DLC.
I've not played the DLC with a W!Carver yet but seeing Anders and Larius...I can't do that to my little brother! :(

I love the sibling rivalry.  I LOVE IT SO HARD.

Hawke: Good.
Carver: You don't always have to get the last word, you know.
::long pause while they stare at each other::
Carver: ...
Hawke: ...good.

Sorry for the spam, but I'm so glad with this dlc.
It gave me a chance to repair things with a Templar Carver without having to side against mages.
Not that things are perfect between them but at least I finished the dlc with a feeling they'll try to fix their problems in the future. ^^

Ha ha ha   =)   I was laughing so much at that point    =)

Love it when you get to talk about how Malcolm trained with Carver,
always wondered if he felt left out.

Also this one below, might not be the exact words but it's the gist of it    =)

Carver: Father didn't want to have a mage child, he got that one wrong twice over. Guess the wardens are looking pretty good right about now   :P
FemHawke: <_<

lol, loved it

Oh, it's even funnier when you're in a rivalry with him. I got some dialog about rats and it was priceless.

I just loved the Hawke and Carver moments in Legacy. The final conversation in Hawke's home between her and templar Carver(maybe it is the same with warden Carver) was just adorable.
