I don't think my Hawkes would have as much of a moral dilemma about him and Isabela as they would with him and Merrill. In Isabela's case, it's pretty obvious it's just mutual lust. She doesn't have any say in what her grown brother wants to do with his nights. And from that incredibly suggestive flirting and sudden boost of confidence in Legacy, it's obvious he's been hanging around his share of 'Isabela's already.Saberchic wrote...
I love all this Carver fanart! <3
Going back to earlier... I guess I'm one of the few who thinks that Isabela and Merrill aren't good enough for Carver. I don't want either of them to hook up with my lilltle bro.
I remember when Izzy first started messing with Carver. I remeber saying, "oh hell no! Move along skank!"
And Mererill, love her, but no way is big sis Hawke gonna let her get near Carver with her blood magic.
Why can't Carver find a normal girl like Macha?
Both of my mages would be very unsupportive of Merrill/Carver however, for different reasons:
Rosalind is very, VERY anti-blood mage, plus that Carver is a Templar (seriously, Templar Carver? You're going to flirt with the blood mage apostate?!), so she would try to steer him away from a relationship that she believes would only end in him getting hurt.
For Adrianne, while she doesn't support blood magic, she doesn't think anyone who uses it is automatically evil. However, she wouldn't want him with Merrill because Merrill was forced to kill her whole clan and is in a very vulnerable place, so she would fear Merrill becoming attached and then having her heart broken when he had to go back to Wardening.
In a perfect world I could see Merrill/Carver working, but Carver's world is not a perfect one.
