Was just starting a new PT today to see if I could manage to complete a Fenris romance (for a change), and I have a very difficlut time not picking the sarcastic dialogue option in the first dialogue with Bartrand.
"My brother has a point. It's on his head, but it's still valid."
Ah, brothers!

Oh, I already know I can troll Carver. He's great fun to do that to. But I've already played purple Hawke before, and was unable to stick with Fenris after the split, despite rivalry. Never done a red Hawke.Heidenreich wrote...
Purple Hawke: Because trolling your brother, your boyfriend, your mother, and all of the rest of Kirkwall nothing put pure horribly wonderful entertainment.

From the summary of today's chat with Mike Laidlaw regarding Mark of the Assassin:
Companions will flirt with Tallis, and Carver has not lost his "thing for elves."
I am pleased.

I really hope that I can finally get some Carver/LI banter, particularly with Anders, like I've been begging for since well before DA2 came out.

Oh, please for the love of God let that be the case. And not bugged out like in Legacy. Though, I'll miss taking Izzy. But I have to have Carver and Fenris with Anna (red/purple Hawke/Fenris LI/Templar siding.)
(I'm still redoing Margaret's (purple Hawke/Anders LI/Mage siding) game and I'm not to Act 2 yet.)

Yeah, Legacy was a step in the right direction despite the bugs. Every LI but Fenris had some mention in Carver dialogue, though friendmanced Sebastian and Merrill had an entire banter. Izzy got a line from Hawke (nothing different from Carver, IIRC), and I think one of templar Carver's lines was different if you romanced Anders.
But I want moooore.

Thanks, Teen. I usually prefer him to be a Grey Warden, too. But that prompt just.... grabbed me.

I was playing yet another mage today, and my son was watching me as I was getting ready for the Deep Roads expedition. He told me that we need to leave Carver behind because we lost our sister. I think he still remembers that our choices could actually kill party members in the ME2 suicide mission, so I went along with him. I have been meaning to see how Carver as a Templar reacts to a pro-mage Hawke during the endgame, so this should be interesting, as well as his differing Legacy dialogue.
I still feel a little guilty, though. It's got to be humiliating for a nineteen year old guy to be told to go home with Mommy by his big sister.
Er... sorry, wasn't talking aobut the fic (didn't quote anything). Just random comment is random. Kind of like "I like cheese." Sorry for the spamminess of it.Sialater wrote...
The ficlet wasn't ABOUT Carver being a Templar, it was just the most likely way to accomplish the prompt.
