That's just what Carver wants you to think.

Of course it'll be the last poor choice he'll have in clothing, he'll be wearing it for ten years.

Oh snap!
He'll just lie there... putrefying in his lovely redshirt, till naught but bones are left .. for year upon year
Unless of course the Darkspawn get a bit peckish, so the ten year mark might be a bit optimistic.

You can see Carver in the background, though it looks like Hawke is a mage, so this theory could be true:
if ( Hawke == mage ) Carver lives;
else Bethany lives;

But seriously, has no one else noticed the new companion in that screenshot? I mentioned it in the Aveline thread also.

Then Mom Hawke MUST die. Sorry, but my Hawke would like to think she would want to die over her kids anyways.
I still don't know if Momma Hawke has to go in order for Carver to live, but I totally agree with you that if it came down to it, she'd rather die than let one of her children perish.
Man, I hope it doesn't come down to deciding between something like that....

What new companion, besides Aveline, are you talking about, Amagoi? I'm missing it.

You're a Carver fan AND an Elliot fan? I like you! Do you post on Deviantart or anything? There's not a whole lot of Fable 3 fanart for me to look at yet, especially of Elliot.

That code isn't commented.

But maybe it's Mom Hawke that has all the ties in Kirkwall, so if she dies it makes doing anything in Kirkwall (IE, finding your family relations, attaining shelter, etc) exceptionally hard. Although I do agree, I think any loving mother would prefer to die in order to save her children from death. Like the Cousland parents.

I was thinking the character to the right of Aveline was a new companion. They're huge, in big bulky armor in a lighting cage. But I've been told that is actually Hawke casting a spell.
If so, that's a hell of a spell.

Maybe the survivors will spend the first hours of the game walking around in Kirkwall knocking on peoples doors asking: "Hi, do I look similar to someone in your family?" or "Do you know me?"

I'm picturing European Vacation here. The epilogue of the game will have a cut scene for the people Hawkette and crew end up spending the whole game living with.
Kind old man: "Well, I guess they're moving into the palace."
Kind old landy: "Yes, I'm going to miss them. They've really grow up."
Kind old man: "They really have. I wonder who the hell they were, anyways?"

I can see the expansion for DA2 now. It will be spent shopping for furniture with all the surviving Hawkes. They have to find a way and agree on a interior design.

The replay value is amazing. Who knew Carver had a love of Orlesian silk?

I don't think any of my Wardens would have the heart to leave their moms behind. Of course, how they could leave Lil' Carvy? ...I DEMAND A THIRD OPTION, BIOWARE.

I know! This gives BioWare a golden opportunity to release DLCs with new furniture and fabrics and what not.

Well, my Dalish Warden doesn't have parents, so...
But he has a heart of gold, he would probably try to save both.
My mage Warden is an evil btard. He'd laugh when the Ogre smashes Carver's head.
