No. Not at all. I would probably do the same. 

Poor Carver, he's head would explode. Or he might start running around in a circle, not knowing what to do anymore.

Oh the ways we could torture and make the Hawke family uncomfortable!

I love it that we have a family in the game. Hopefully some of them can stay with Hawke and will comment on things.

He has a Jason Segel-esque charm. Not that he looks like the guy, just, has that big guy teddy bear huggable awkward dork thing going on, which is endlessly endearing.

He has much sexier arms than Jason, though. (Sorry, dude!)

Aww... that sucks.  It's good that you have a brother, though; I always wished for siblings but none of my mom's pregnancies came to term except for me. But hey, that just makes a person's friends all the more precious. And now we both get a little wish fulfillment in the form of Carver and Bethany! I'm looking forward to that more than the writers probably would've anticipated.

Yanno, I've always wanted a brother, and I was actually pretty excited when I found out my Hawke would have one. I just hope Bioware let's you get a nice sibling dynamic going (and that Carver is alive long enough for it. v.v)

So I was kinda disappointed there was no Carver in tonight's video - I was hoping of seeing a clearer shot of him derpless. Since one wasn't provided, I made my own.

About the picture with dead Carver and alive Wesley, i think it's a choice between them...cause Bethany is everywhere in the videos and mama Hawke...well she might be somewhere safe assuming she is not a warrior. But we did see Carver later in game (RTP video) and we saw a templar behind Hawke, which might be Wesley (the famous Meg picture).

I'm going to have a tough time choosing who lives and who dies. Well, except for Wesley, he's definitely out of the question (sorry dude!).



I really want to keep Carver around, he looks adorable. Bethany is a must have (apostate sisters ftw). Aveline also looks badass, but I doubt she will react well to Wesley's death, so hopefully I can still keep her. I couldn't bear to sacrifice momma Hawke, but I think I might have to. There will be many tears shed among the family. Unless there is a way to save her, I hope there is.

you know when i first saw carver my reaction was pretty much the same as everyone elses, but the more i saw him and got used to him the less "derpy" i saw him.



PoisonTheCity made a pretty good photoshop manip of what he might look like with a regular expression, with out actually seeing the game, i think.



i really like the younger siblings/twin relationship part, or i think i will. i wonder if each twin will react differently to the main character's gender. like with baby brother carer be more protective of a femHawke against male companions? will bethany come to femHawke for romantic advice if she gets any suitors? will carver be more jealous of a big brother getting all the glory as opposed to an older sister? that would be pretty sweet, i think.
