The more I see the less likely I think it is that everyone in are band of refugees is going to make it out of the badlands. It seems inevitable that one will die and if any has to die it'll be wesly !

Interestingly enough it would seem that momma Hawke follows you around on the field. But what happens when enemies approach? Does she run and hide?

LOL. That totally annoyed me about Levi. He should have gone and cowered behind a rock or crate or something. Not just stand there.

But I guess that's better than him standing there, getting wailed on by enemies, screaming, "WARDEN! AIIEEE!! COME SAVE ME!!"

Or he could've manned up and started kicking things in the shins.


Thats how the Templars truely deal with ill-willed spirits, heavy shin kicking.

I remeber people put forward an argument that if hawke was a warrior then carver died.If hawke was a mage bethany died based on the fact that each class you dont see your companion. Intresting though in the rise to power their are scenes were hawke is a rogue and both seem to be alive.



But god I hope thats not the case there has to be somthing we can do to save evryone we can.

I have no idea really, but it happens at the end of the Lothering escape so its probabley the "End scenario decision" that would have some kind of adverse effect. But to be honest I have no idea how it ties to Carver, maybe if Hawke finishes Wes off Carver says to Aveline something along the lines of.


"I'll be the hero your husband was supposed to be!"

Then gets pwnt, maybe his fate is involved in a different scenario before or after Wes'. We really dont know yet.

That's how I want to imagine Carver, as this silly little brother that almost hero worships his elder sibling.

And on the Wesley/Carver conversation, I think I reposted a picture a page or two back. To me, it looks like Wesley is still alive and Mama Hawke is holding Carver's ogrefied corpse. We've seen Aveline and Carver together in Kirkwall.. so yeah, if it's a choice, Aveline's going to be widowed in a lot of my playthroughs.

So, I'm reading through the Escapist preview right now, and one of the Devs finally gave us the answer on Carver. He'll be in the party if we play a Mage Hawke, and Bethany will be in if we play a Warrior/Rogue Hawke.

I'm kind of disappointed, because I had my heart set on a Warrior MHawke my first playthrough, with Carver as my DPSing little brother. I have to admit that this adds a lot of variety though, just with Bethany and Carver. I like how classes make more of a difference in terms of story.

So who else is considering switching to Mage on their first playthrough now?

I am so happy that Carver can be in the party. REALLY happy! Good thing i always play as mages...and i wanted my first playthrough to be a mage even b4 i knew about Carver or Fenris.

Cool:  Carver can be in the party.

Suck:  It's Carver for Hawkette-MAge and Bethany for Hawkette-Warrior and Hawkette-Rogue.
