Hawke is going to be the most irritating big sister ever.  She will be hardcore shoving him onto Merrill.

Hawke: She's cute, too.
Carver: Uh-huh.
Hawke: Very wholesome.  The kind of person you wouldn't mind having as a sister, know what I mean?

I really don't want Carver to be the angry traitorous type.  Big sisters are annoying as hell.  I know, because I spend most of my time being one.    That said, my little brother loves me anyway, y'know?

I believe the demo won't have the character customisation? But I think it would be cool for all of us to share our Carver pics when DA2 comes out on the 8th (or 10th for Australia and 11th for Europe).

At least I know it's something I'm looking forward to seeing in fanfiction. Carver/Merrill even more.

I am finding it strange how Aveline and Carver's ultimate armor upgrades are both Grey Warden trailer armor, with Carver's looking a bit more like the DA:O trailer Warden's armor.


But now that I think about it, it makes a lot of sense. They both lost things they loved to the Darkspawn.

Hmm I think I remember one previewer saying that one of your siblings could compete with you for a LI's attentions. It'd be interesting if they always had an interest in a specific LI, and something would happen from that if Hawke didn't do anything with that LI.



But yeah, there's always the wonderfully disturbing world of fanfiction. I'm looking forward to the sibling ships!

It's a shame he's your brother, because he's quite handsome.

At first I wasn't liking the idea of him being a rival, but I don't know, I think it could be really fun. The whole naysayer 'tude he seems to be giving off is only making him feel more like Simon Tam to me (one of my favorite 'brother' characters).

Has there been a confirmation on Carver's VA? He sounds amazingly like Nicholas Hoult, actor and he voiced Elliot from Fable 3. The similarities are very striking.

You know, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought he sounded like that...

Also, did anyone notice Carver's choice of words in the demo: "We've been running since Ostagar"?  I suppose he's referring to Ostagar as an event not a location, but it's kind of an odd choice of words.  Does anyone think Carver could have BEEN at Ostagar?

I loved his banter with Bethany especially. It's sad that only one of them will survive the beginning of the game.
