After watching the footage I would hate to be that guy's brother, god what a dick!!!


Edit: That way of interacting with the family just wasn't very appealing to me.

Yeah, the line after she dies that was chosen was the aggressive one. I'm not doing that in my playthrough.
I think the only line I haven't seen is the "diplomatic" one. I wonder how that plays out and if Mama Hawke reacts any differently.

Just watched the video. And, okay, what are these options? 'There is no time to mourn', 'She dies bravely'? BS, I don't care how she died, the game won't even let me be sad for my dead sister? Meh.



I wonder if Carver reacts in a better way if you choose another option. He was kinda... off, for me. I'd play the 'he's trying to be strong for his mother' card, but his voice is okay enough. Meh again.

I choose to believe that "She died bravely" will lead to more emotional responses from both MamaHawke and Carver. (Instead of, you know, yelling and stoic-faces.) I think if Hawke can show a softer side, maybe his/her family can, too.

I actually kind of like how strong Carver's trying to be just after his sister's death... and I'll bet you anything that it comes up again. The death of his twin is a huge opportunity for character development, and it doubt this story would let it go to waste.

The only twins I've seen in games are sassy little urchins, so this is a nice change!

Yes. I'm not sure when a dev confirmed it, but they are fraternal twins. Its in the DA wikia page.

Still, I wish they'd interact more with one another, or we see some flashbacks before one of them dies. Something. I'm also very interested to see how one death will affect the other and if it will be realistic. Twin death is tremendously horrifying to the survivor.

There are apparently a certain number of presets that you can customize your Hawke off of. Your siblings are based off the preset you choose, so if you choose preset A, then no matter how you tweak your Hawke's look, your family will not change. They won't be the default, but I don't think we can make them fugly.

I will try to find the link to the post one of the devs said this in and add it in my post.
