<.<; on a side note I really hope that the Carver built up in this thread doesn't turn out to be better then the Carver in the actual game. I got this mental impression of him already and if he doesn't fit into that role in game I'm just going to be left with a sense of disappointment. .

But that's what Fanfics amd Fanart are for Derpy Carver will always live on in those

I know I tend to harp on this a lot, but my Hawkes and I are strongly shipping Carver and Merrill.  (For one thing, if she's the straight LI like I'm suspecting, she's the only LI my Hawkes will never get to experience.  Merrill has to get some loving from the Hawke family somehow!)

Can't you picture how adorable that would be?  Carver has those big sexy arms, and Merrill is just so petite... pairing them up fills me with squees.  I can picture him being so protective over her.  I can also picture them having a tickle fight and Merrill always losing until she resorts to magic to fight dirty.

Hmm, maybe I like Carver and Merrill so much because they remind me of my husband and myself.  He' a big guy, and she's a teensy little thing.

Ooh, I know, right? I've been having slightly naughty thoughts during my demo playthroughs. It's like, "Damn, Bioware. Just dangle that box of violet chocolates from Bruges slightly out of my reach, why don't ya!" Not that I should complain, considering what they gave us instead. But still... yummy, much? Those eyes... those arms! The hair... *sighs* 

Since mage is so awesome, Carver will definitely be around for my first playthrough, but I really wish he was a rogue. I don't ever want to take Anders or Fenris out of my party, but I want Carver, too! I hope he and your mom are fairly active even out-of-party.

Is anyone planning on shamelessly imagining an AU in which Carver and the Warden meet and fall for each other?  Because I definitely am.  If I wrote fic more, I would write one.  Because I am truly, truly shameless.  I like the idea of my FemTabris falling for him.  She went travelling after Origins anyway; she very well could have headed for Kirkwall.  :innocent:
