So since some of the companions change outfits over time (like how Aveline wears guard armor), do you think that blue and silver armor is Carver's alternate?

I thought that the blue and silver Grey Warden armour was only used for the old build? I could be wrong, though.
I believe I've read a dev stating that the armour Hawke wears in the exaggerated scene will be avaiable for him/her later on. It would make sense if it's the same for Carver's armour.

Heh, thank you! Poor Hawke will be remembered for her bravery in the eye of darkspawn and complete disregard in favour of screenshots!

I doubt they'll have multiple outfits, but I hope everyone has at least two looks. It seems silly to spend 10 years in the same clothes.Saberchic wrote...

Huh - and there's pairing I would have never thought of! I'm guessing Carver wants to know where those tattoos go. The picture is very well done, though. Great line art.

Leggy: heheh, yeah, tell us how on Thedas that would work.
And that is a gorgeous pic. Like Leggy, though, I'm shipping him with Merrill.

Nice job being inspired by it but making it your own. I’ve seen that concept art but it didn’t leap to mind when I saw your picture. Painting? Drawing? I know nothing about these things, I’ve never gotten close to a tablet.

Some of the characters won’t get a new set of clothes, although I read that was the exception and not the rule. I think the siblings will. It would be strange for the Hawke name to grow and most of the family to be stuck in the same old peasant clothes they had from day one. Both of Carver’s armors are great but I like the silver and blue one slightly better, just because those are my favorite colors. Sebastian wouldn’t look half bad in it, either. But hey, your avatar would probably still look awesome if he was wearing a potato sack.
Nice find, Saberchic! Fenris’s tattoos look neat in that one. Everybody has their couple, it seems. For my part, I’m starting to like the Merrill/Carver ide- ok, I could’ve sworn I just saw Kaidan in a fedora. The cool level killed my train of thought.

Wonder if the Merrill thread will be as upset at that 'ship as the Tali fans get about Kal'Reegar.

I made an elf mage to try and pass the time until DA2 comes out. She's romancing Alistair, but I think I'm going to let him dump her after the Landsmeet and have her travel in the epilogue. Normally that makes me very sad, and I avoid that ending.
My train of thought this time went something like "Eh, she'll get over it if Ali dumps her. It's odd that I don't care, the Ali break-up normally makes me quite sad. Huh. Maybe she'll travel with Leliana or Zevran in the epilogue, maybe head to Kirkwall... meet some strapping fellow there... oh. Oh."

Yikes, that ship DOES make them angry. I suggested Tali/Kal on a forum once, because I love pairing up squadmates and such. I really got my head bitten off, too.

That's another one I always liked.
Aveline and Carver, eh? Hmm. I don’t know why, but in my head Aveline is closer to Hawke and sees Carver as the little brother, and treats him that way. Kind, but not too close. Maybe it’s because the only videos I’ve seen with Aveline in them have been those where she’s interacting with Hawke. Or maybe my experiences with my older brother’s friends are coloring my perceptions.
family element, might as well go all the way, right?

I do hope that siblings have their own romance interests/lives over ten years, and are a largish feature of the game and not there for more or less for color. If you’re going to bother with a family element, might as well go all the way, right?

My canon Lady Hawke is going to be a very pushy, nosy older sister (not that I know anything about that IRL... ::cough:
Hawke: I was just chatting with Merrill...
Carver: That's nice
Hawke: She mentioned not knowing much about human culture, and I was thinking it'd be great if someone could show her around Kirkwall.
Carver: Let Isabela do it. She's friendly enough.
Hawke: Look, why don't you just take her to dinner?
Carver: Damnit, Marian. I know what you're trying to do. I'm a grown man, and I can handle my own affairs.
Hawke: So you'll ask her, then?
Carver: ::facepalm::
Eventually, you see, Carver just does whatever she wants so she'll leave him alone. Plus Anders will be recruited as her partner in crime:
Anders: That Merrill is cute, eh?
::long silence::
Carver: So Marian got you to harass me as well?
Anders: Yep
Carver: You couldn't stick up for me or something?
Anders: Look, I'm being... well-paid for my help, here. Your sister knows some tricks in the bedroom
Carver: OH MAKER I AM NOT LISTENING.
(If you can't tell, I am excited about being an overbearing and irritating older sister. In real life, you have to tone it down, can't get away with as much.)

I think I like Carver best with Isabela of all of the female companions. I just don't see him with a mage and I think Aveline might emasculate him (some men can deal with being with a strong woman, but I think Carver has too many insecurities, especially if he already has a strong elder sister constantly besting him). I think he'd be best with a non-companion long-term, though. Maybe Shianni or Kaitlyn immigrated to Kirkwall.
OT: I did not know about the talimancers' Kal'Reegar hate. I did not know it was possible to hate Kal'Reegar. And I totally ship him with Tali too.
