This one's femTabris is going to bang Carver too, not before he mistakes her for a boy : DDDDDDD

LOL!  I think that makes at least 3 of us on the thread who want their Tabris to get with Carver.  It just seems really fitting for some reason.  (I made a FemSurana with that original intention, but it didn't seem right.)

So... was anyone else thinking of Caver when they told Fenris not to kill his sister?

There's actually a line reflecting that if you're a warrior/rogue and Bethany died in the Deep Roads. Hawke sounds all sad and says "Don't. I know what it's like to kill your own sister."

I really feel bad for Carver. It must have been awful growing up without magic with your father, brother and sister being mages.

And he's only 18/19 during act 1. That makes the whinyness a lot more justifiable I think.

I got, "I know what it's like to lose your siblings," or something like that.  (Bethany to the Ogre and Carver in Rivalry in the GW.)

I love this pic so much. i cannot begin to describe it. Mostly because it reminds me of THIS video, which should really remind me more of Anders, but I think it's the way it's worded that gets me.

Varric might override that, I told Fenris to stop and then Varric was all, "It won't help. Trust me, I know." And I went "awwwww, Varric! :crying:" I'm glad to know Hawke has some lines to that effect too, though, because I am totally thinking of the sibs when I stop him.

I think it's kinda funny. My Hawke went for the sexy white haired, dark eyebrowed elf slave and now I'm making Carver go for my white haired, dark eyebrowed elf Warden. I guess it runs in the family.

Varric said that for me, of course after doing his personal and killing Bartrand.

So I'm in Act 2 and I had made Carver a Grey Warden. I saw on my way to the Viscount Keep to stop the Qunari. He may be an **** about stuff but I still like him. I thought it was a bit sad when he said "Goodbye sister". I was all like "Nuuu Carver wait~". He also seemed excited about leaving for his Grey Warden mission.

Anyway do I get to see him again? or Carver only gets 1 cameo as a Grey Warden?

You can see him 2 more times in Act 3.  He'll be in the "Finding Nathaniel" quest if you import the right Awakening save, and he'll show up again in a gore-ious fashion for the big finale.

:o Awesome! Thank you. I'm still bitter with Bioware, a constant feeling it seems, for not letting me keep my sibling as a permanent party member, specially Carver.

*sigh* Oh well~ At least he's doing something productive like being a Grey Warden. It could be worse. He could've been a Templar. <_<

He might be a sulky little brother, but I really liked Carver. And I can somehow understand him, his sisters are mages, and papa Hawke probably spent a lot more time with them than with him. I let him join the templars because I think it adds nicely to the family drama.

Remember: he DID try to join the guard first but Aveline wouldn't hear of it. Thanks, Aveline.

Yes, I agree completely. It certainly would've made some things a lot easier.

Carver has a chip in his shoulder. He's awesome. xD
And I love when Isabella tricks him into revealing he's been to the Blooming Rose, and brother Hawke goads, "Carver. What would Mother say?"

I really wanted to have words with Aveline over that.  We had to fight the Arishok together before I forgave her.

It would've been nice to be able to talk to all of them about some of the things mentioned in the banter. That one in particular, I agreed with though. Carver didn't want to be a cop. He was just looking for an outlet for his anger.

She said he was too selfish.

I don't think he's ever gotten the opportunity to be selfish.

And then Aveline has the nerve to berate him for not getting a job. He freaking tried!

Yeah... I was rather annoyed I couldn't turn around and defend my little brother. What else is he gonna do, take up cobblering? Or maybe chandlering?

And that he wouldn't be able to follow orders. Which is rich, considering it's coming from Aveline of all people.

Exactly. It really took some time to forgive her for that.

Edit

I wouldn't want to be Aveline when Margaret turns around to give her a piece of her mind. Posted Image
