I apologize if this question has been discussed before--I back read a bit and didn't see it.
I just finished a playthrough where Carver was a warden. I ended up siding with the Templars, even though I was a mage (long story) and when I ran into Carver - he was angry that I was siding with the Templars "against my own kind". He quickly overcame this and fought by my side, but I thought that was a strange and inexplicable development for the character.
Why would Carver, who had always been pro-Templar in the past, suddenly take offense to this? It floored me slightly, and I'd like to hear others' insights.
You got Carver! =) did you by any chance meet him in low town on the way to the Gallows. wondering if I have to replay the endgame of my last Hawke so that she can pick up Carver again. My Hawke meet him there but he was just standing there and there was no way for me to initiate a conversation with him. Feelt so sad to just leave him...
Well, he hasn't seen Hawke for many many years. Perhaps he wasn't ready for this change, he must have thought that a mage Hawke would support the mages. Carver can always find something annoying about older sibling Hawke
