Game starts loading for a second, then stops and then is frozen. haven't had this problem until today.

Nope. I did install the patch before but not after I had reinstalled.

DVD or digital version, if digital, from whom? also system specs?

you might try using the EA digital download (it'll work with your DVD key from the box)

I'll try that but is it really any different from installing from the DVD?

Also, I'm on a very crappy college network and the download it is going to take 37 days. I did purchase Batman: Arkham Asylum which took me about 5 days to download...

try uninstalling and have it erase the settings files... then reinstall from the DVD and see if it will let you make a new game

Reinstalled, worked for awhile, went to play one day and it started doing the same thing. Don't know what to do.

Please? I really want to keep playing but its impossible. I also reinstalled today, same problem first time i loaded up.

How far into the game did you get before it started freezing upon hitting 'resume' or 'load' and just to be totally clear it freezes on you when you hit either 'resume' and 'load'? I had a freeze up on just the 'resume' option but 'load' has worked every time (so far).

I just reset the video settings and the game loaded up... been playing for about 30 minutes now, no problems...yet.



But it would freeze when i clicked the resume or new game button at the main menu, could never get past the loading screen because that when it would freeze.
