well i recieved my 6th litho today, the crucible and it was crushed. I also ordered a t-shirt that was not in the package. and why in the world would they send a LE litho without a few fragile stickers on the package!

jesus that's horrible :(

yeah, just what i thought when i saw it... I hope they'll send me a new one or something but since it's LE i don't think they will :( and since i have a bit of a collection, this sucks!

Getting a replacement requires one e-mail and some pictures.

LE is no issue because they don't sell them all.

 Update...

Yes....I think someone opened the flood gates....

In that regard, I honestly hope your litho arrives undamaged, but I couldn't say for sure. We have suspended all shipments that include artwork shipping in tubes until we figure this out. We hope to resume shipping them on Friday. We have plenty of extra lithos so right now there is no fear of someone missing out.

Who do you talk to about getting a replacement? Mine isn't as bad as some of yours but it's still not perfect.

I wouldnt worry just yet.  They often allow for 30 days delivery

Mines arrived in the UK  and for the past six days has been getting transferred between that lovable place of Droitwich and Stoke.

:P

Hopefully it doesnt look like above after all this handling

Wow. I jumped on here to complain about the condition my Crucible litho arrived in, but after seeing pics of others lithos, I actually feel quite lucky!  So sorry for you guys!

When mine arrived, the tube was already open at one end, the litho had a few light fingerprint smudges and there was slight damage to one of the edges (not very noticeable). I guess I should be glad that whoever opened it kept the invoice instead of trying to shove it back into the tube and risked damaging the litho even more.

In comparison, it doesn't seem quite so bad.  Nothing that can't be fixed anyways.

Still, it sucks to receive an item already opened with insufficient packaging and not in mint condition.

So far I haven't found any damage in the replacement.

It's the same flimsy tube but with padding in both ends and a new plastic bag. The receipt is on the outside of the tube.

Edit

Aside from those finger marks which seem to be everpresent.

It's so weird that someone just jammed the receipt in with it. All my receipts have been like your last one, attached to the outside of the tube.

Tugga_gott my Crucible came the same way, since i paid through paypal I don't have a account therefore no refund :( any ideas? also What happened to treehouse shipping. I got 2 Earth Alliance Lithoths perfect a few weeks before, both wrapped in plastic with the card board backing. This one came with nothing, one side open and a bunch of rip marks.

was someone drunk at work that day? I any case if anyone has an idea of how to get a replacement from using a paypal account let me know.

Finally got my Crucible today, and, while the litho in in near-perfect condition (a top right corner is a bit bent and there is a small tear, but it won't be noticable once framed), both corners of the tube were smashed pretty badly and the only thing that saved my litho was the fact that it was sitting in middle of the tube. You'd think that thbs would know how to ship their products properly after selling lithos for several years...

Mine was in the same sort of condition. I had a good laugh when I saw the only protection was.. wait for it. A piece of paper! :o

 Couldnt agree more :)

Anyway, having seen how some the tubes have ended up above, I got a real sinking feeling about how my Crucible Litho is going to look after this back and forth between the depots

Wow, what the hell is this? Maybe they are sending messages to each other in your tube or something.

@ Captain Crash, sorry to read that. I'm in the UK and mine was only 2 days being sorted once it got to the York office.
might be worth trying to contact them.
Unfortunately I've had to request a replacement because it was all creased, packaging wasn't damaged, just got packed rather badly.
hope it works out for you.

I just got my replacement, and its also damaged. This is pissing me off. The package was in fine condition. Whoever put the litho in the tube screwed it up. I'm not buying anything from Treehouse again.

Well as the above back and forth pretty much showed mine turned up damaged as well.

One end of the tube was crushed and with the plastic cap missing.   Fortunately though its mainly just the borders and I think putting it in the frame will flatten it out.  Theres a small crease on the litho itself but im not sure how noticable it will be.

I will see what it looks like in the frame and make a decision if to make a support case next week.

I don't think the caps on the new tubes are as resilient as they could be. Mine was crushed, and pushed into the tube on one end. I was expecting a very damaged litho, but, it was fine.

What the hell is with the new tubes?? They are smaller, weaker, and the caps are flimsy and breakable.

My Crucible arrived in the tube, with one cap pushed into the tube, damaging the litho. The damage was not overly extensive, several small bends and creases along the border. And finger smudges of course, which thankfully came off with some careful wiping from a cleaning cloth.

Not damaged enough to force me to ask for a replacement, but still disappointing. This was my first damaged litho.

Please go back to the bigger, stronger tube. (Why the hell was the shipping more expensive for this crappy cheap tube).
