The mission "The Game" is possibly the funniest thing ever.



Knowing the bioware forums, I'm suprising you aren't all ranting at the lack of RPG aspects.

I actually thought there would be no Fable 3 thread since all others got closed down, glad this is going.



Ive had to stop playing, ive lost the ability to highlight people! I cant do anything! What the hell have i done wrong?

I cant 'interact' with any NPC's, or my dog, i'll be pissed if Elliot leaves me over it. Help

So how is Fable 3?



I eventually got bored with the lack of narrative direction, and constantly having to fart to get reputation up with people, back in Fable 2. Is Fable 3 more of the same, or is it a tighter package than the last?

Does dancing with everyone you come across strike you as any better? If not then I would avoid Fable 3 altogether. I don't even know how to review it. While I do enjoy it and found some parts excellent, I found other parts so annoying that they took me right out of the game.

I can't imagine anyone liking Fable 3 if they didn't really like Fable 2. There is definitely some fun to be had, but I thought Fable 2 was fantastic and I still have to say that Fable 3 is a fairly average experience with some rather poor choices made that occasionally make it feel like a chore.

I don't know what you guys think but it seems to me that Fable 3 might have ripped off its plot from DAO. To me the plots of the two games seem too much alike, especially if you play as a Human Noble.



1. Overthrow a tyrant. Check

2. A tyrant comes into power after the death of a beloved monarch. Check

3. Main Character (Human Noble) gets a dog. Check

4. Tyrant's actions were the result of preparing for a greater evil threat. Check

5. Forging allinances with other nations and tribes. Check

anyway i just beat fable 3, enjoyed it, now im going to return it for ac brotherhood

How is DA2 just like fable 2 when DA2 hasn't been released yet. If anything DA2 is like Mass Effect.

Does anyone elses xbox 360 cry out in pain while its playing the game? Ive never heard it groan so much



Also, is it normal for Jasper to become mute after a while? Sure, he was repetitive, but i could tire of hearing John Cleeses' voice.

I did notice the disc spinning was quite noisy, burning it to the hard drive did the trick though

On top of that, the Monarch's name is Logan, which is pretty close to Loghain. They had to be aware of the similarities. Perhaps that's part of the joke. Maybe the whole game is just one big statement about the state of RPGs and how they are so often held together by a bare bones story that does little else beyond justifying the player running around killing everything in site.

Also for Jasper going mute, I would consider it a blessing. I'm on my second playthrough now (got a strategy guide so I could actually find most of the game's content) and if I have to hear "I think there are some new items in the sanctuary shop" every time I pause, I'm not sure I'm going to make it through with my sanity intact.

The Jasper thing is a bug. Theres a fix involving starting a new game with a different profile on the xbox thats having the problem. Can't remember exactly what it was but if you look on the official forums its in there. Be glad he has shut up though he now keeps trying to sell me DLC and making wonder why I can't stab him.

Ah so it is a bug. Im not sure i mind, though the DLC thing is cheeky. Mainly because they're not new, you just haven't bought them...



On that note, has anyone bought any of the DLC clothing etc? I got a redemption code in my case, not sure i would have bothered otherwise. Its about £1.36 per item RL money.,.
