I think I've voted months ago. Don't know If I voted for ME2, but I really don't care for it anyway. I'd rather have Dragon Age: Origins(: Awakening) win than ME2 as well.
Help Mass Effect 2 win!

We must consider people are fundamentally stupid and cannot be trusted to make the right decision on their own.kraidy1117 wrote...
Then ME2 does not deserve to win if it does. those votes could decide it all. This voting is now invalid.

Also...why is "The Sims" in strategy.....?
because its classified as a real time strategy game... RTS arn;t always like age of empires or command and conquer where you build and army to kill another. RTS also includes things like sim city and rollercoaster tycoon.
That still doesn't explain why it is in the strategy section. If anything, I would have thought it would have been closer to RPG than strategy. But meh, it's an irrelevant point.
Only thought 'twas weird was all.

I'll vote ME2 on this, but not on the game of the decade thing over at gamefaqs. I have a bracket to consider.

I voted for Dragon Age Origins. I don't think Mass Effect 2 should get the award honestly. Now if the original Mass Effect was on there I would've voted for that ten times over by now. Sadly it was not it was 2 so you don't get my vote, sorry.

A tough choice for sure with Dragon Age also among the choices. I picked Mass Effect 2 for all available selections, but Dragon Age was definitely a close second (if not equal).

So hard to choose best RPG between ME2 and DAO. DAO was a more traditional RPG and ME2 was more cinematic. I value both and thought for almost 10 minutes before submitting my vote. Funny how Bioware has to compete against itself, seems like having DAO, Awakening and ME2 all in one category is actually more of a detriment to Bioware than a benefit. But having them all nominated is an honor too.

I was tempted to give it to Brutal Legend as well. Ended up giving it to the score of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It was actually a close call once I forced myself to choose between Greg Edmonson and Jack Wall.

I was tempted to restrict myself to original compositions as well. But ultimately UFO's Rock Bottom decided me.

Damn voting page choked on me entering date of birth, moaning I have to be over 16... I am, but most places you enter DOB say mm. dd. yyyy or some such to give you a clue what to enter where,. As a Brit in the US I get constantly confused if the month or day comes first. So it refused to let me vote, dammit!

I only gave ME2 the soundtrack vote. RPG went to DAO, as did GotY. Even then I'd put Batman: AA and Red Dead above ME2.

I voted ME2 for the ultimate game of the year - but all other categories went to other games for me. I wasnt expecting to see Arkham Asylam in there - that game was probably more fun than ME2 now that i think about it! I love ME, but when i think about the actual gameplay - it's just a cover based shooter. I think the setting and great dialogue overshadow the actual gameplay side of things.
