I don't get it. How can we vote for Star Wars: The Old Republic if it isn't even out yet? Or did I miss an announcement or something?

Nevermind. Saw the category I didn't even realize existed: MSN One To Watch.

Nope. You guys did not show me any good support after the games launch. Especially Awakening. so, sorry.

Voted over all game of the year Mass Effect 2, but in the RPG category voted for Dragon Age. As much as I like Mass Effect 2, it wasn't much of a Role Playing Game.

Done, in all categories possible I've voted for DA:O. But since I'm rebellious I voted in the 'game to watch' category for Fable 3 :P

No way would I vote DA and/or expansions. Your steady lack of support for the PC version is nothing short of deplorable.

At one time, I might've voted Dragon Age: Origins (annoying bugs aside) but, as Master Bandit pointed out, there is absolutely no way I would ever endorse it for an award, after trying to play Awakenings.  It's Awakenings, and indeed the lack of support that you spoke of, that caused me to stay my hand on voting for any of the Dragon Age fare.  My conscience (and, indeed, still simmering anger over the way the whole affair has been handled) refused to allow me to do it.

so you are coming here begging for a vote and the same time there's absolutely no support at all, not even a single word about an upcoming patch or other news regading all those bugs. but if there's somewhere a more then senseless award to win you're constantly crawling out of your cave... that's hilarious.

Semper said that Bioware doesn't provide support for its fans but if you thought Bioware was bad, you haven't seen Bethesda or Lionhead. Fable II was bugged like Hell and support was only provided 5 months after the release. Fable II had game killings bugs and everything, Fallout New Vegas also has game killing bugs. At least Dragon Age didn't have game killing bugs. Don't vote for Fable 3 people, it'll be as bad as the second one, I warned you about Vegas and you didn't listen and it looks like I was right - it suffers from game killing bugs and so will Fable III suffer from game killing bugs.

Anyway, Halo Reach had to be chosen as shooter of the year, I am waiting for the price to drop before I buy it but I have played it. Halo O.D.S.T has to be chosen as the best soundtrack. Dragon Age - as the best RPG and ultimate game of the year, I couldn't care how angry people are at the DLC, at least the game didn't suffer from game killing bugs and was actually fun unlike other games on that list.

First: Could you address "game killing bugs" in Fable 2 and 3? Because i'v played Fable 2 in over 100 hours without losing anything or seeing any major bugs... And please, don't predict bugs in a game when it's not out yet.

Second: Fallout New Vegas got tons of bug, yes. But guess what, they're fixing it ,and the first patch camed out the 22nd, the same day for EU consumers and three days after for U.S consumers. That's days, not weeks or months. And a new one will probably come out next week. Right after the launch they said that patches are on the way and in development.

Third: Dragon Age didn't have killing bugs?! Are you serious?! I need to wait for about 6-7 months before i got a patch for save corruptions... Bad support right here. And the lack of communication at the beginning made thing even worse.

1. Unlike you, I brought Fable II the day it came out. Just Google game killing bugs for Fable II and you come across articles on gaming sites mentioning them.

http://www.1up.com/n...-2-bug-reported

2. Fallout Vegas shouldn't have that many bugs on the day of release, not game killing bugs, that's just not acceptable. As far as I know, no patch was released. The patch is pending.

http://www.product-r...h-being-tested/

3. I was right about Fallout Vegas being bugged, I doubt that I will be wrong about Fable III being bugged.

4. I played through Dragon Age various times and never encountered a game killing bug. I encountered a few minor bugs but that was it. It still had more work on than Fable II and Fallout Vegas.

1. 2-3 months and it was fixed (You said 5 months and that's bogus.) Unlike Dragon Age with it's 7-8months for a game breaking bug to get fixed. Orzammar story glitch and corruption, both "game breaking" and both addressed in the 1.04 patch that camed out in july. That's 8 months of waiting.
Fable 2: http://www.shacknews...article.x/56710

2. This is true, and it unaccepable, but like i pointed out, it got fast fixes, unlike Dragon Age. And i got prompted a patch for the 360 yesterday. Just search the forums and you'll see.
Patch: http://cinemablend.c...ased-27693.html
Forums: http://forums.bethso...box-360-issues/

3. Image IPB

4. I think the bugs are far more superior for the consoles, or so it seems like. I encounter bugs all the time with this game. Especially in Awakening.

Yet more proof that Bioware is:

1. Completely out of touch with its fanbase; and

2. Clearly focused on marketing over quality of content.

Are consumers really that dumb in Canada?

Voted for Origins in everything it was up for. I was surprised not to see it in the soundtrack category.

EDIT: Wow, I read this thread for five minutes and I already want to vomit. Good to know I'm part of a fanbase that isn't full of insane, incoherant ranting morons.

I think you're tone would change if you got your 100+ hours gamesaves corrupted, twice, without any form of commuincation from the developers. Image IPB

Soundtrack was excellent (why it wasn't nominated is a bit of a surprise, actually.  I might've actually voted for them in that category, if they had been nominated).

EDIT: I love how you call us morons and can't even spell the word 'incoherent' correctly.  ;)

I've lost a few characters to save-game corruption, true, BUT:

Most of those were errors on the PLAYER-side (Played for 7 straight hours, and triggered a crash, for instance), or things that can not be controlled (power failure, anyone? ). Much of this can't be traced by a developer, and as such, is ignored. Otherwise, I, too, never came across anything truly game-breaking.

I'll see what I can (and will) vote for.

EDIT:  Hmmm...  not letting me do anything.  owell....

And you would know this how, o mighty seer?  I didn't have the game crash on me once (though, I have a top-of-the-line computer; I can only empathize with those players who were suffering with that particular problem while having to deal with all the other issues that have been reported).  If you had actually bothered to read what people have been posting, you'd see that has nothing to do with the reason why we're not voting for DA:O for any of the categories it has been nominated for.
