But you're not related to Flemeth...hopefully.Shadelon wrote...
Maker I hope not. Personally romancing a centuries old woman like Flemeth doesn't exactly sound very appealing to me. Hell we don't even know how old exactly she is, do we?

WE didn't make her hot, David. And for the record:

She is literally smoking hot.

If we're lucky, that's all she is. She could be full on Old God ar the friggin anti-life equation given fless for all we know. And I have a rule about not dating anything that can eat me.

Really? People WANT to romance a shapeshifting abomination that's several centuries old and likely not even human? And was last seen looking like an 80-something year old woman - well, before she became a sodding High Dragon, anyway?

That's not the edge.
That's the bottom after you pass the edge.

Spend more time on those forums, it's just a bunch of nerds in a constant rage about lore and what they want to happen or newbeis making thread we've seen millions of times back in 09.Upsettingshorts wrote...
Not personally, I wouldn't be shocked if after the sarlaac was announced as a companion, a thread appears asking if players can romance it.

Don't get me wrong, the Alistair romance was very sweet. I enjoyed watching Morrigan's shell soften. I love Leliana's character and she's usually the option for my pious characters. I've yet to delve into Zevran's romance, although I'll make a Dalish Elf soon for that. Anyway, the idea of the mature, older *companion* is much more appealing. Something deeper than just party member, but not all about lust or passion, but a quieter love and respect.
I haven't played Mass Effect 2 yet because I can't get my virtual download to work (I'm buying real copies from now on, I've learned that lesson!), but from my understanding of some of the characters Samara does seem more interesting. I know how it ends and I won't produce spoilers, but it still seems like something I'd like to do for my character.
Bring back Susan Boyd Joyce.
Although I'm ecstatic for DA2, I'd love to hop on my Warden instead and go to Cumberland post-Awakening, or take charge of some dashing older templar character (since DA is moving toward central characters!) who falls for her cause and joins up with her.
Sorry, those last bits are much more off-topic dreams!
Edit: Added a little extra explanation.

Yes, and we want Andraste's promiscuous sister who's in a lantern as a romance option too. This should be obvious.David Gaider wrote...

It can be like that elf in the tube who taught the Warden how to be an Arcane Warrior.
This time the tube can teach Hawke the true meaning of love. The sex scene can be Hawke popping the cork on the tube and pouring the contents down his or her pants.
Are you taking notes, David?

You heard that too? The scraping sound coming from the barrel?
Seriously though.. This is the sort of world changing event you want Hawke to endow upon the world? To have your genes assimilated through some whacked out demonic ritual nookie?
"Turmoil, injustice.. Who cares?! I want me some abomination cuddles!"
Whatever floats your boat man..
