Hey all, thanks for all the help on the previous topics. I have a new one here that may be a bit more complicated. I was wondering if it was possible to add on to crafting recipies currently in game and if so how.
Specifically I am trying to make new recipies for armor/waepon crafting etc, but what I am looking for is a bit more than just creating new items. I like how magical item crafting/enchanting works and want to do something similar for armor crafting, for example >any weapon + some materials + black smith inventory< = improved weapon.
In addition I would like to have a disemble option on the black smith bench, wear you can put in a weapon or piece of armor and get raw materials by breaking it apart. Any help with this is appreciated, thanks.

There are (at least) two Crafting Expanisions on NWVault. I would download those and just look through them to start with.
In fact, I use the SOZ Crafting Expansion all the time and have made a few little additions of my own.

Crafting recipe are 2DA buiseness, for it you need to edit 2da.

I have SOZ as well. Where is the crafting addition though? I like the whole item enhancement, but I think that is just all 2da stuff not sure where to begin there. I'll check the vault too.

Ask these types of questions *(and yes, Shallina's right, it's ALL in the .2da's) in the Custom Content forums and maybe log onto IRC *(see the NWN2 Chat sticky topic for logging in information) and get more specific and better targeted help with this.

In addition to 2da's, you'll most definitely be working with ginc_crafting.NSS
And making a lot of UTIs.
