So if you pre-ordered Dragon Age when will you get it?
Does 3rd Nov.(USA) and 6th Nov.(Europe) mean they will get delivered these dates and package services will bring it to you 1-2 days later or will you GET the game on these dates??

Whatever the Game's Ship Date is, with Origins I think it's the 3rd Nov North America(PC/360) retailers and people with overnight/next day shipping will have it the 4th. I pre-ordered mine from EA with overnight/next day, just because I had a $15 off coupon for a issue I had with NCAA 2010, but when I asked if since hell they're EA the game is coming from them to retailers on the Ship Date, wont I get it the same day/afternoon the retailers get it? But thanks to the CSRep from EA that frankly spoke like the latino maid from Family Guy, I couldnt get a straight answer, she said once that I'd get it the 3rd and then said something about me getting it the 10th none of it made since. I'm still waiting on an email about it.

Depends on the retailer. Amazon for example is offering release date shipping (at a reasonable rate or $6, I think), while others will overnight the game to you if you are willing to pay for that (often around $10 or more), which mean it will be there the next day. I'm getting the CE at GameStop with two day shipping, and they are saying that I should have it by the 6th.

How about Digital version? I assume it is released for download sometime next week and then you get the "Unlock code" they talk about the night before the release date, so you can start playing at midnight on the 5th? 6th? (I have seen at least two dates for Sweden).

Depends on the digital retailer; Some might offer pre-loading, some will have you download it after a certain release time on the date in question.

I was lazy and bought it through EA store. One of their reasons to buy it that way is the "be the first to play" thing.

bought from Gamespot to have the 3rd even took day off. Now the only thing better would be if store was open at midnight on 2nd for pickup.

If you ordered a CE from Amazon, they don't have a release date option for it. I was hoping they would by now, but it's getting late, so I have a feeling that it's not happening.

I realized this morning that Gamestop is likely to ship the day it releases which means I probably won't get to play the day of. Which makes me really, really mad because I have a day off on the THIRD of November, not the FOURTH or FIFTH. I'll have to wait forever to play it because I'll have stupid, annoying, useless schoolwork. And by the time I have a chance to play DAO with unbroken free time, I'll probably have more papers to write. I have unbridled rage. :'(

Let me tell you all something - even though adults don't have as many days off in America as students do, the greatest advantage is that you can select when to have those days off. I'd give up half my vacation time to be able to choose when to have free time. Not that it's practical, because school runs on a curriculum, not day-to-day work, but still.

Geez, I figured everyone who ordered through Pawnstop did so to pick up on release day!

You could always cancel your order and go to Best Buy.

Ordered deluxe edition through Steam, available on the 3rd.. I don't pre-order through gamestop anymore since shipping dates are too unpredictable, and picking em' up at the store can backfire when they sell pre-order copies (they've done so where I live).

But why didn't you get the pickup version?  They charge you tax anyway.

According to game.co.uk, they ship the day before release, so if you order with express delivery it should arrive on the release date. Express delivery is supposed to be guaranteed next day, so hopefully this won't be affected by the Royal Mail strikes.

Alocormin, I love you and your good news. Love. Thank you! Now I just need to see how to edit my shipping, if it's not overnight. :/

flem, there's a great reason why. Generally speaking, they don't like me very much in-store at Game Stop. Heh.
