Regarding the lithos: holy god do they look good. I can't believe the price went up before these, because I've neverconsidered buying two until now. The first to f5 will take home these lithos, and I would gladly skip my class on Friday to be here for a 10-11am PST release.

Avoiding making a new post for responding to the post below this one:
Yes, once the Tali fans catch wind of this, which may have already happened, we will witness the true power of the talimancer menace. I REALLY don't want to miss this one. I don't even like Thane that much, but I'm loving his character shot.

I wish there was a prioritising scheme to loyalists who already own like 12 lithographs.

Just so you know that someone had a similar idea:

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to have some kind of "preferred customer" list...something to help insure that these get in the hands of people that want them first. I guess it's kind of weird asking for preferential treatment, but many of us are collectors of some sort or another...and it seems like a shame there's a good chance we may miss out to a bunch of people (as an example) that just want the Tali artwork because it is Tali...without any actual appreciation for the art.
I guess what I'm proposing is maybe a day early sale (limit of 1) for certain members (myself included, of course :-P) that can prove they are actual collectors.
To me, this idea is just selfish. And who tells you that the ones that bought previous lithos aren't resellers?

2. It doesn't mean Tali fans are talking about it to each other (If this does happen server crash!)

Obviously not as much of a collector as others then. The point is, loyalty and continued support of Bioware's merchandising should be recognised.
It doesn't prove how much of a fan of the series you are, but to miss out on the next in the series just because Bioware release it at 0300hrs in the morning European time isn't fair to people who have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the rest of the previous releases.

I know, i've bought all lithographs upon release. I'm just trying to make a point.

when making a point with wrong/imagined arguments, you aren't making a point that counts.Rivercurse wrote...

Splitting the release and limiting the max # of lithos ordered is the store's current proposal for making the release as fair as possible. They are not trying to play favorites - they are trying to make it fair. For everyone - not just the people who post here/order lots/etc.

As far as I am concerned I have spent a ton of money on the entire collection, and to see tossers buying 2 or 3 at a time and ebaying the lot for hundreds of bucks is a joke.
You make it sound like I want a signed thank you note from Hudson himself, whearas all I'm suggesting is some kind of loyalty scheme. This it not an unusual concept, companies do it all the time. I don't know why you're finding the suggestion so unacceptable. Perhaps because if such a scheme was introduced, you might not be offered the new lithographs first?
A certain amount would always be reserved for general sale.

Uu... Common scheme. Best way to distract from yourself. Put the shame on others and dispute them. Oh, how I love this forum at times.
Look... there are low numbers, and like Tentura said, it is the current method to be fair to everyone. Be it the first-time-buyer who only waited for a certain litho or be it the long term collector. There never will be a way to satisfy EVERYONE. Someone will always loose. And the collector won't turn into a non-collector because he/she missed a single litho. A loyal customer won't turn disloyal because of one. Then his/her loyality would be worth a s**t.
@Nameless: imho, this is a good idea. one mini-litho at Visceral already is announced to be released larger and signed/numbered later. this could also be done vice versa.

Why you take such offence at the suggestion of a loyalty scheme confuses me. That's all.
As for "putting the shame on others and dispute them" erm, what?
