Just got back from the store, opened the sealed copy, tried putting in the code and it says it's already in use.
Is there a quick fix for this, or do I have to do some back and forth with EA support?

Got a working code. Had to spend an hour chatting with EA Support, during which time they came up with ridiculous suggestions to try and push the problem on something/someone else.
