Since so many of us has ditched the Kaiden/Ashley romances and found that romancing an alien is just so much better, i was just wondering how would Asari, turians, quarians, drells, krogan view us Humans. Would they find us attractive at first sight like so many of us see the Asari, or are we just totally weird looking to them.

I find it odd how aliens find the Asari attractive. yet we don't see many aliens(other than Asari) pursue human women. They're basically the same with the exception of hair and blue skin.

I basically romanced Humes save for my renegade shep that romanced Liara. To answer your question though they would either look similar to us or be evolved enough to look past the exterior.

That seems like a matter that's hard to define on a whole species basis. Garrus would consider Shepard, but not Miranda, if you follow. Good of you to skip the salarians though.

The asari, almost certainly. We're a few characteristics apart at first glance, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if some inexcusably wealthy and intolerably bored youths didn't go in for artificial skin pigmentation treatments and either have their hair done in 'folds' or straight up graft artificial head-folds to generate attention and make fashion statements. Whether the asari find humans in 'blueface' offensive or not is a matter left to the imagination.

It's too hard to say with the quarians; perhaps they have flapped nostrils and find the protruding human nose an unsightly deformity. Maybe they look as much like us as the asari do. Given their suits and culture, however, I'd imagine appearance is one of the last traits selected for in quarian relationships. It takes far too much trust for them to try and nail the hot new girl.

The others, from drell to krogan, seem less and less likely the further we get from human baseline. A personal bond could overwhelm that, but I'd say by and large we look as alien to them.

People will hate me for this but physical attraction? Probably not. Aside from Asari, they probably look at us and see some sort of deformed animal.

I would imagine that human hair could considered somewhat uniquely attractive to aliens, much the way that a blue skin tone or pointy ears are viewed by us.

On the other hand our hair might be totally disgusting to some aliens...

As an alien myself I can attest to the fact that we do in fact find you meatbags hideous to look upon.

I'm a dwarf (fantasy), how do you find us?

We find Dwarves to be superior to ****** sapiens due to their evolved facial hair and chest hair growing aptitude as well as the ability to consume gratuitous amounts of alcohol with ease. Clearly an evolved race.

I think aliens find Humans to be unique in their own way and I think that is the main attraction to them/us

i think some aliens are manipulative. i don't trust their motive, or suspect ulterior intentions, or "parasitic" interest.

Chora's Den is full of aliens and it is also full of human and asari strippers, so I'd guess that aliens seem to find human females attractive or why else go there?

Why not? If something is new and different, it is exciting. Someone is going to be attracted to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the arrival of new species caused a burst of fetishism for that species for a while.

The fact that Mass Effect fans in this community are able to find turians and drell and asari attractive should be proof it's quite possible.

I mean if you have people on here saying they want a Wrex romance, is it so hard to believe aliens would find humans attractive?

You dont see many other females in the game other than humans and asari (and few Quarians who are not exactly qualified for the job).
The human dancers may be there to attract human customers (and aliens with human fetish).

I think things would be quite different if fans of the alien romances actually had a real drell or turian in front of them. Our brains are wired to think certain attributes are "attractive" for reproductive purposes. Things like a symmetrical face, properly proportioned facial features, etc. give us hints that "Hey, this individual is a healthy member of the human race and if we mate, there's a good chance of healthy offspring." We haven't evolved to find aliens attractive, so to the OP's question, I would probably have to say no.

There might be some fetishists who would be really into us, but in general I don't think most aliens would be sexually attracted to humans.

Probably as much as anyone can find a cat, or a dog or a jellyfish attractive.

But then again, people who play ME find Turians and Drell attractive, but those creatures are still very much like us.

So it would heavily depend on the form of the Alien in question...

Yeah, technically they are humanoid (even the elcor fit that definition), but they are not human like.

They are soft... something even a chimp would probably squeeze. It should be one of the basic instincts of any thing that has anything hand-like... to squeeze soft things.
