I have been trying for weeks now, to somehow convert or retrieve the sound file that is Ammon Jerro reading alloud the True Name scroll.
Whether I have to grab his entire dialouge and cut it up into sections myself is no problem! I just cannot, for the life of me, get that sound. It is totally amazingly-done, and I really would like to use it for a section in a module I'm currently creating... Plus it'd be totally awesome just to have ;p
Any ideas, anyone....? Anything?
Trying to get a specific sound file

Also, for the record, if it would be easier, I could accept someone's savegame where they are about to face one of the demons in which Ammon would use the scroll, and I could turn off the music, and pause the game, and record the sound my speakers played... That sound like an idea?

I'm using Ammon Jerro voice too in my module intro, it's really great! He says: "Perhaps a taste of the hell would teach you your place!" His voices are in VO.zip the gl_ammon*_xxxx files.
I use to listen to everything (i'm a sound addict
) but if you are in hurry just look into the module instead (copy them to your "My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2 /modules" folder to be able to see them in toolset).

That I've found the GL_Ammon.dlg file, but I have no idea what to do with it <.< I'm fairly ignorant in the ways of the Toolset, but if you could mayhaps give me an idea as to what to do with this file, I would be quite appreciative! ^-^;;

Okay, I finally found the VO.zip, and have been listening through everything with Ammon or Jerro as the name, and I'm not quite finding what I'm looking for. with your previous listening experience, do you recall which file might be the one which is his incantation while he's reading the True Name scroll?

Hmm I don't really remember that, I rushed that part and anyway I didn't trust him and had Zjhaeve read it instead
But yes, there is something in Sounds.zip that might be it : try the vs_chant_lock ones, they are pretty cool anyway. I was thinking of using them for a big demon summoning or something.

Well the faster way is to open the module and look inside. Find the module and I'll look when I have a moment.

By the way it is easy to browse sounds files with 7zip and listen to sounds with VLC you dont have to decompress anything just double click on it.
Edit: You're lucky stumbled upon it when i was looking for something else^^

I don't know where it is..I just looked in the module...But I believe you can play it by script with PlaySound().
Where did you find the others 3541_cut_finale? There must be an additional zip somewhere....

This one is not in the zip, and I don't hear it use the PlaySound command, do you still have the save from the scene? Can you hear it?
