Everyone was loyal, but I didn't know what the hell I was doing so I picked Samara to lead both teams (I know it doesn't make any sense) Lost Tali on the first part and lost Samara on the second part then lost Mordin after the final boss.

Techie: Legion
Biotic: Samarra
Saved crew with Jacob leading them back safely.
...but did not have Jack's loyalty and so she died when I took her with me to reaper fetus.

I remember my first playthrough of ME2. It will also be my last. I played ME1 about 8 times all the way through. ME2 will never be touched again and I'm going to forget it ever existed.

Unfortunately, most of my crew survived.  The krogan dude died because he was doing the last stand thing holding the door and leading that group.   I was hoping most of my crew would die, because they were all stand-in characters to a lousy story in a half-baked game.  I didn't like any of them except the chick with the british accent and the little scientist guy.  He was funny.

I didn't know what specific effect it would have, I just figured it would throw a kink in things if it turned out that all you needed to do is upgrade everything and have everyone loyal.

Made the suicide mission feel a lot more unpredictable and "realistic/canon" to me.  But to each their own.

Strike team survived, Normandy crew did not (decided to do a few N7's before hitting the Relay). Exhilarating memory of finally going through the Relay, but I returned to a half empty ship and felt absolutely devastated. Came here and happily found out about saving the crew, booted up an older save right after Legion's loyalty mission and righted my wrong. That was four playthoughs ago.

I remember my first time through was with a Paragon male. I had everyone's loyalty without doing anything Renegade minus blowing up the Geth base and thus everyone recruited. I even stopped Jack and Miranda from fighting without siding with either and kept their loyalty. Same with Legion and Tali, told them they were both right and both remained loyal.  I went through the entire suicide mission and did everything right without knowing it. Everyone survived and I blew up the Collector Base. I remember how annoyed I was by the final boss, the human reaper larva....felt like a sorry excuse for a final battle. But I totally enjoyed telling off the Illusive Man and telling Joker to "lose this channel". It was really great.
I had kept Kasumi and Tali with me the whole time as I had done during the rest of the game (as much as the game would allow). I used Legion as tech specialist, Miranda first fire team, Samara biotic specialist, Garrus second fire team, Thane was escort, and Kasumi and Tali remained with me through the final fight.

Legion died on my first playthrough. I think it's because I used Samara as the first squad leader.

Jack and thane died because i forgot the normandy upgrades and after 2 playthroughs no one died.

Tali as tech expert, Garrus as fire team leader 1, Samara as the biotic escort, Garrus was once again the fire leader because he did such a good job last time, Legion escorted the crew back to the ship and I picked Tali and Garrus for the final battle. For old time's sake.
