I have recently bought DA: Origins through Steam, Deluxe Edition and need to unlock my extras and DLC etc.
To do so i have to come to this site and log in then enter the game CD code etc.
Only
problem is i tried creating a new account here using the email i use
for steam. But it says there is allready an account using this email
address. I think fair enough i probably created an account with EA when
i bought Tigerwoods10 on wii. I can't remember the password so i do
password retrieval and enter my email on an EA page which then says an
email has been sent to the email i provided. But it hasn't. I am
spelling it correctly and have tried another email address and the same
problem occurs.
So 2 questions really what is wrong with the EA
password retrieval thing? And do i need to log in here with the email i
use for steam when redeeming my game code so i can actually apply it to
DA origins? Can i just redeem it using this new email i have created
just to log in here as long as when i 'login' in DAO i use this new
email? And would it effect functionality ie achievements?

check your spam folder, and you'll want to use the existing EA account... there can be some iffy things that happen otherwise. You might also contact EA support and see if they can reset your password over the phone or via the live chat http://help.dragonage.com

Yeah I had checked my spam folders on both the emails i tried and it wasn't there. It just seems that it is not sending the password at all. It was about 2 hours ago so it's had plenty of time to get to me!
I think I am just hoping there is something I have missed. If not i guess my only option is tryign to contact EA... i imagine that could be a painful process!!

Just a quick update and a thankyou. I went to the help site you suggested JironGhrad and used the live chat feature, last night at 6am UK time... unfortunately i got to 2 in the que then i think the help went to bed! Anyway just done it again now and I have fixed the problem and can login with the correct email address. It was a weird problem and the helper did not really know why. But he was unable to send emails to any accounts i had allready signed upto EA with. I had to make a fresh account and he was able to send me an email linking me to a site to change my password for the correct account. All really weird!!
But alas i am here now and get to try and redeem my game code at last!
