1.) More eye shape varieties
2.) More hairstyles, longer hairstyles, don't be too afraid of clipping
3.) A choice of lip shape schemes
4.) More facial hair (for male characters only of course)
5.) Height and girth sliders for the body
I know a height/girth slider isn't possible in DA:O because of how the models are made but for sequels, it would really add to the game to have tall and short or skinny and fat PCs or NPCs.

I don't think she's that bad looking? Um. I've winced at some hairstyle/make up mods/ super white teeth, they annoy me for some reason, and people create these female faces that look like Barbie dolls. While DA:O is pretty infamous for the faces being pretty much stuck in neutral, the Barbiefied, over modded faces some how make it worse and makes me think Jordan is now a Grey Warden, these super botox'd femmes who would like to feel express something, but can't.
Do not get me started on some of the clothing mods. Urghhhhhh.

I created my favourite character with the slide bar thingies and not mods, and not with Toolset:

Anaya, please note that some of our console-player cousins don't have the advantage of the toolset and use of custom content to the extent we PC players have.
Actually I played my first few games on the PS3 so I know very well. Here's what proto-Anarya looks like:

(and PC Anarya with mods on the right for comparison).
I think PC version just looks like a refined version of PS3 Anarya, myself.
And about the teeth, it's just a pet peeve of mine. I prefer the white teeth in my game and I don't care too much about realism in that particular regard, so I use the mod. *shrug* I just thought I'd list what mods I used on Anarya because I've gotten that question before and figured it might be useful to some people.
Also, never underestimate the value of good lighting!

I also like the way ME2 did their faces. And a couple of times I put in random numbers and letters and ended up with something I could tweak
ME1 was the game I had a hard time making my female Shepard look like she wouldn't break a mirror. That game I actually started more than once because when I got to EP I saw what she really looked like.

I actually liked my female faces in DA. However it did take me a few tries. I hated the hair.

In DA i think the fem humans got the most love. From preset 1 + some minor tweaks you could get a decent looking girl at least (more tweaks=>better. But for elfs...my god! Took me ages to make something good looking...
As for ME2...i HATED the hair. Even on Miranda it looked like it was from one of those dress up games, in which you have a nekid model and you need to put clothes on it.

I like the one you are using, Anarya, it's almost a throwback to the popular 'Arrow' cut of the mid-60's.

1. Better eye default eye textures and colors in the creator
2. Also being able to tweak the corners of the mouth, my in game CC creations always looked sad etc, esp. the guys
3. More haircolor choices, and hairstyles
4. More Tattoo's or just different ones

All very nice, but as a console gamer I'd quite like to see these all updated in the Character Creator as that's all we have....

Here are some of my female characters:

This is a human female mage based on Morrigan face.

This one is a elf female rogue based on Alleykatze (Leliana's model).

And this one is a human female warrior based on Etain from the film Centurion. (Is my avatar too)
I use 4 mods:
CC Extra Tints & Tones
More_Hairstyles
Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 1.31
Tucked Hair
I hope you like my characters:)

Yes! I hate the hair in ME1 and 2. I was really hoping they would do something in ME2 to give us more styles. I usually go with a bun and pretend that she lets it down once in awhile.
