The very top of the list is her comments to the Sloth Demon in the Fade. "We found each other in this place..." Excuse me??? We???? We didn't do anything, you old biddy! You, a mage with years of experience in the Fade, couldn't tell you were caught in a stupid dream! I'm the one who traipsed all over that nightmare, finally fighting my way to your rescue and what do you do? Jump down my throat and tell me how rude and disrespectful I am! We, indeed!

So what you're saying is that they are like any army. They'd be unstoppable, if only they had the numbers!Tigress M wrote...
Perhaps by trying the same tactics Sophia did? Wardens are a force to be reckoned with and the only reason they're not more of a threat in "current" day is simply because their numbers are so small, imho.Ryzaki wrote...
How are you going to misuse the Wardens? Please tell me how they're comparable to siege weapons that are nearly unkillable.
You see, Sophia was a horrible GW. And I don't see how Sophia Dryden's tactics were that stellar. "I don't like the king, let's fight him!", "Oh crap, he is winning, now let's seal ourselves in this fort, because from here we're sure to overthrow the government" and then "We were outnumbered from day one, let's release demons on them to even the odds!".
The wardens got crushed.

Yea that part made me raise an eyebrow. I had Sten and Morrigan with me and both of them knew they were in the fade, while Wynne was helpless and now we were the small help that you graciously mention at the end? Right.

It's not like Sten and Morrigan actually do anything useful with that information.

Let's take Zev, for example: one could argue he's just a ruthless assassin, will return to Antiva with Taliesen and not give a damn about what happens in Ferelden. And you'll go: "So he's an ass - we all knew that from the very beginning. Stupid assassin caring only about himself."

That is... one magical bosom Wynne has there.
I find her more annoying then because then she dismisses you like a child or gets all huffy that you don't want her advice.Wulfram wrote...

99% of the time I don't agree with Wynne and yet... I still don't find her annoying. Strange...
I think she's less annoying when you disagree with her. Largely because then you can argue back.
You could always take her out of your party post-Fade but then you're stuck with her in your party.I just wish you could tell her to **** off at that part. Honestly, thats why I hate doing the Broken Circle, because I have to drag her with me so she can take all the credit. grrr
I think the point was not 'OMG, Zevran's evil!' but 'If Zevran tries to kill you, you can claim it's because he's an assassin hired to do so and doesn't care about Ferelden. Wynne, however, has no excuse.'What Zevran have you been traveling with?

Of course, had Jowan been 'lobotomized on a suspicion', think how much better things would have turned out for Redcliffe.frostajulie wrote...
I loathe Wynne mainly for the city elf bit but also whenever I play a mage I find I hate her the most. She totally buys into the Chantry dogma that would have had me executed and my best friend lobotomized on a suspicion. She is incredibly judgmental and for someone who tries to be all "good and just" she is so quick to judge others and find them wanting. I wish I could tell her to get lost when she acts like a douchenozzle but I have to settle for leaving her in camp and ignoring her.
Well, you know, there is many many wardens still out there, and there's always option of drafting even more of them, too. On the other hand the ashes you destroy are the only such item in existence, and who knows just what sort of healing (and other) powers that thing could've had.frostajulie wrote...
And when she trys to kill 1 of only two remaining grey wardens simply because of a bit of ash when there is a BLIGHT going on she totally deserves to die

My Warden is afraid that it will become a Chantry regulated thing and only people of 'great importance' will be allowed to receive the Ashes, meaning people like Kings/Grand Clerics/the very wealthy. She'd rather everyone lived and died naturally, so she's fine with seeing them destroyed.
(If there was the option for it, she would have never gone on the Urn Hunt, but that's another thread entirely.)
ETA: I, too, hate Wynne.
Death to the witch!
Oh yes! That one, too! And it especially annoys me when I'm playing a mage because Irving knows me and still assumes Wynne is the one who saved the day. Ugh!Monica21 wrote...
I haven't contributed to this thread yet so I might as well.
The thing that gets me is when Irving says, "I guess this is your doing, Wynne." And she says, "I had help." Excuse me? You were the help, lady. You did nothing. You didn't know you were in the Fade, you didn't use the Litany, heck, you didn't even know about that demon with the awesome sword in the basesment! You were just baggage on this trip. Go away. *sigh* But I'm still polite to her. Darnit.
