I think the problem is though that everyone thats disappointed in seeing the "exaggerated" gameplay have it regurgitated back to them that the "real" gameplay is vastly different. Maybe it is in the mechanics, but it'll look mostly the same, which will still leave people disappointed if they're thinking the exaggerated gameplay is night and day different than the "real" stuff.
No one dev side has said it's vastly different. It's different, but not vastly. Some may not love the new direction; we're very aware of that. But there are some that do.
I meant more along the lines of you go on forums besides this one and the reaction to the gameplay videos is pretty much the same:
Forum Goer #1: WTF!? BioWare has ruined DA! ARGHHHH!*Wailing and gnashing of teeth ensues*
Forum Goer #2: BLARGGH! You just killed RPGs BioWare! What is this? God of Dragon Effect May Cry? Here we go again with streamlining everything for the console kiddies /facepalm
Forum Goer #3: Well, I like the changes! Origins was too slow and clunky, I hope they make it more like Mass Effect!
Forum Goer#4: You guys do know that footage as from the exaggerated portion of the game right?
The implication being that the claim of the "exaggerated" gameplay is often used to try and reassure those who don't like how the combat looks based on the "exaggerated" portion that the "real" gameplay is more like Origins' pace and look. Whether thats the case or not we don't know until...
we see some gameplay videos.
