Hey, im having a serious issue with ME whenever i use Biotics like lift, push, barrier.
Whenever i use my skills, the screen zooms incredibly in, so much so that its all pixelated and it goes over your characters shoulder, it will then flicker to a smaller resolution, then again, then back to my normal screen.
It makes the use of biotics completely and utterly unable to play the game..
Imagine whenever you use your biotics it zooms so much that you cant even see the crosshair..
My specs are Intel® Core 2 Duo, E6750@ 2.66Ghz (2 Cpus), 2 GIG RAM, Direct x 9, Windows XP, ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT, with updated drivers 10.10, but i had the problem with 10.9 aswell.
Benchmark tests show i can run it beyond minimum as well as beyond Recommended.
I have spent hours searching through the forums and it seems no one has encountered this bug.glitch/error.
I would really love a hand.

That sounds quite bizarre indeed. Have you tried clearing out your configs (BioWare/Mass Effect/Config) in My Documents? This will lose any custom settings such as graphical settings and key bindings, but you will not lose your saves.

What will that help?
I notice that i can get it working sometimes, but i also have a conflicting issue with startup, the game loads rather laggy and choppy fps, so i change the resolution up a notch, and then back to my actual settings...and then its clear...no fps problems..
Its all rather weird really..
I have a feeling if i can solve one, it will solve the other.
It definitely feels like a resolution problem, yay/nay?

Spend 3-4 days and nights, countless hours wondering why suddenly mass effect isn't working.
Re-installing, searching the net, defrag, re-install more and more.
Wondering why you cant get a smooth frame rate anymore, why whenever you use a biotic move your screen has a seizure, as with whenever a thresher maw pops out of the ground.
Yet you did ALL of citadel at the start, without a single loss of frame.
Only to realise that somehow, ATI Control center decided it wanted to "override" some options.
Press "reset to defaults"...
Problem solved...
*facepalm*
I hate you catalyst...
Cheers for the waste of perfectly good sanity, keyboard durability (due to rage) and a few days of ARRRGGH.
Hopefully...this helps..someone..hahaha

That's rough luck... I had some strange texture errors in Guild Wars that was rectified by a similar thing... should've thought of it. Glad you got it going, anyway.
