I'm now running into groups of enemies using Immunity, which is making things hard to kill. So I'd like to know what's everyone's strategy on taking them out? I'm playing a Level 60 vanguard.

You really have two choices: Warp, or Shotgun. Warp decreases Damage Resistance, which directly counters Immunity. With both Immunity and Warp, a target only gets a 5% boost to their Damage Resistance. Because of this, you may also want to bring along Wrex or Liara, as they both have Warp as well.
The other option is a Shotgun equipped with Hammerhead Rounds. It won't do anything about their Damage Resistance, but it will keep them on the floor, so they won't be doing any damage to you while you're trying to take them out. Warp is generally a better idea, but this can be used in a pinch.

Damping is God.
If you fail to prevent the problem, only Warp can help.

Does Damping affect combat powers?

man i never had any problem with my adept on ME1 insanity. just equip chemical rounds and be on your way. shoot em quick with the toxic rounds and they'll never actually activate immunity, it's like it somehow prevents them from doing it.

Take turns using biotic or tech powers to keep them on the ground so they are unable to activate it. If they do activate it then warp and overload to reduce resistance and lay into them or just wait for it to finish.

good ole immunity! i remember going after fist in choras den only to open the door and the first enemy i see who is simply only a bartender, lights up immunity.
master marksman, warp, damping, overload, and putting them on their butt is the best way to get past immunity.

Warp. Excessive use of it.
