 I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this, but there seems to be little mention of the fact that Liara's right eye has a tendency to close slightly more than the other resulting in a sort of skeptical/quizzical look on her.

I wonder if the intention was to give her a slight imperfection so she'd be more likable.

It could very well be a glitch. It does give her character though.

I think it's a glitch, some other asari have that twitchy eye in ME1 if I remember correctly. However, in Lair of the Shadow Broker, Liara no longer has it.

i saw her in LotSB and was like, woah! one green one blue eye?!



also, alot of characters have that eye glitch if you watch them carefully,
but it is more noticeable and awesome on liara.

Actually, she still does it in ME2. If you look carefully, when before LOTSB, if you ask her what she'll do once she finds the Shadow Broker, I think one of her eyelids lower just slightly a she says she'll hit him with a biotic field so strong...

I thought the cute factor was probably it. I think they more or less kept it exclusive to her for the second game. I think details like that make it great. Love the attention to tiny things like that.

Perhaps it's because she has two asari parents...? A genetic flaw because of inbreeding maybe.

It's not a glitch or a genetic defect....she just narrows her right eye when amused/upset/angry.



It's a Liara thing.

I had a friend who had an eye twitch like Liara, and it made me think she was super cute because of it. Still dont really like Liara, but the eye thing helps. I don't know, maybe its the association between her and my friend, but it made me go from "hate liara" to "indifferent about liara".

Creepy as hell and a glitch but it gives her some character. However it's fixed in the DLC so it isn't canon. At least now her eyes are this really hypnotic blue...

Haha, I noticed that too. It was funny that both of them twitched eyes whenever in conversation. xD
