Ah, I see how it is. I'm a Liara fan so I am not allowed to express my opinion. Sounds logical.

Didn't seem ackward to me, I know real people that have that eyebrow twitch you describe and they also look adorable. I'm glad they gave her that trait!

I never said you can't express your opinion. I'm saying that somebody saying something "bad" about Liara shouldn't automatically make one a troll. Now if I went into the main Liara topic and wrote endless jokes about Liara's mom, that would be trolling.

You like it and thats fine, until this topic I only noticed it on that one occasion I cited. In the end it is just one of those triats that adds a bit of character. She seems more fleshed out in ME2 than in ME1 and that's a good thing.

The programmers wanted to see how many gamers' eyes start twitching because Liara's twitch annoys them so much.

Actually he just said Liara fans were aggresive, not that they weren't allowed to express their opinions. I would've said antagonistic.

And I don't believe it's supposed to happen, just a minor glitch. I didn't feel like going to Therum my first play through until post-virmire(look up what happens), just thought she was crazy as hell and was twitchy...Along with being blue, but that's beside the point.

It's creepy in my opinion.

Ditto. It's just one thing among the many that make her annoying.

Edit: And to Recon, you're not trolling. As you said, this isn't the main Liara thread, it's a thread about her glitchy eye. So if Liara fans can't believe there are people who dislike the twitch, then it's just tough ish for them.

First time I met Liara in ME2 I was highly disturbed by it.

Liara: "It may take years, decades even, but I'm going to hunt down and kill the Shadow Broker." *crazy eye twitch*

Shepard: "Ooooookay... I should go."

I had pretty much the same reaction. It wasn't the twitch alone, but combined with her obsessive behavoir in regards to the Shadow Broker, I wanted to back out of the room slowly.

Though to be fair, I didn't really know the full story of why she wanted revenge on SB at that point, so I had no idea where her hatred of him was coming from.
