 I'm on an NG+ for my engineer playthrough and I want to get the ''A.I hacking'' achievement without having to go into story missions to get it. Like doing it on the Citadel.
Before you ask, I chose the Operative specialization to lower recharge time for powers after completing ''Rouge V.I'' assignment.

Approximately, how long would it take to get the achievement by using it 75 times?

Oh, that's an annoying one, since you can't use the Mako trick. Depending on your patience for repetitive gaming and the speed of your machine, however, you can get through it pretty quick via reload. Like, go fight Fist, hack both turrets as many times as you can before the battle ends, then reload and do it again. Should be pretty speedy on a machine that loads fast, if utterly tedious.

Or just go to the Armstrong cluster and do the Geth Incursion sidequest, hacking anything and everything you see. Prolly take about an hour and a half that way, maybe two, if you don't stop to explore the planets and just go straight to the geth.

I don't think the afore mentioned reload trick works. I took me almost two whole playthroughs (very thorough) as an engineer to get it. I think it has to be for the one particular Shepard. You can still get credit for "hacking" living targets-thats how I got it

Achievement numbers do track across character and reloads. They are not stored in your character file but in your profile, which is a different file. If you're on pc you can always download the achievement editor and track the numbers if you want.

For NS you will want to start a new game with an Engineer class. Play up to the point where you have to go after Fist to get Tali. Save just before you face off against Fist. Use NS on him then re-load. Keep doing this. Just hit NS on him and then re-load each time. DO NOT save after NSing him or after the battle ends. This is because there is a glitch in ME1 that allows you to use talents/powers that accumulate towards the achievement without having to constantly save the game after each talent use.

As for AI hacking, the same thing. When you go to face off against Fist use AI hacking on the turrets he has. Do the same thing you did for NS. Save just before fighting Fist then every time you use AI hacking just re-load the game from the save you made before engaging him in Battle. It takes some time and it is tedious but that is how you get NS and AI hacking achievement. You can't use Tali or any other character from the game with the NS ability like Kaiden to count towards the achievements. Your Shepard must do it.

Thanks. However, I didn't saved before fighting Fist in my NG+ but I'll restart the playthrough again.
