of those brand new, epic ME2 Character Lithos (Grunt, Thane, Tali)

There's no way in he(ck) I'm going to be able to get the Lithos. I could understand $40 for one, but they're selling them as a 3 pack and there's no way I could come up with $120 for them.

Why not have Posters of the same images?  They're cheaper, and literally everyone can purchase one and hang them up on the wall.

I don't even care if they're not the Lithos, and signed. I would gladly be happy with a regular poster -- The images alone are just so damn epic.

Grunt's looks so badass. Tali's is just.. . and Thanes is equally badass.

this topic has already been up several times. the answer for the time being: the mini-lithos. so far, those three (Grunt, Thane and Tali) have not been announced as minis but I'm fairly optimistic that they will at some point... at least, one of them.

...so, no the images won't be made into 'posters' - at least probably not until both the regular and mini Litho's are sold out.

Yeah, wait around for the minis to come out. It's almost guaranteed to be next year, probably around the spring or summer (Normandy came out in July and it'll be mini-released in December). You'll be able to get them at a more affordable price, and it is possible the store may release them as a three-set then as well.

every litho is made into minis. Eventually, all the original lithos will sell out.

they even went back to the Saren one, and made that.

I think the Lithos are good enough if you want a signature but for a big epic feel a giant poster would be great.

I don't think so at all. It will allow the buyer to view the picture in great detail and I think the artist would love that. (maybe only do the high quality images)

I don't see how you'll see the picture in greater detail. It would only be bigger, plus you'd have to buy it to see it bigger. You have to keep in mind that the quality of the paper and printing for posters is a lot different than those for the lithographs. To get anything remotely similar in quality at poster size, would make them very expensive not only to the store, but to us buying them. Though getting the image only, without a signature as a poster is something altogether different, however I don't see it happening as it would kill the reason to have mini lithos.

That one will screw up my whole system. Since I can't frame any of mine at the moment, I have them in an 18x24" portfolio for temporary storage. What am I going to do with that one, and how will it fit in the packaging for shipping?

Not sure where to ask this but I guess this thread might work. For people who have been here long, has there ever been a litho of ilos? For me & maybe others, it holds a special place in the ME universe. Plus now it's been brought up in LotSB with the painting in Liara's apartment so it might qualify as an ME2 litho.

Heh...off topic to the extreme, man, as far as this thread goes (i know, partially my fault)...probably should have made a new thread, but at least you made it to the proper forum - no worries.

No, there hasnt been a Litho of Ilos, much less the specific one from Liaras apartment (though as I've not played LotSB, now I'm all intrigued). We havnt even seen any scenes from DLC made into Litho's - nor stills from ME1 (aside from Saren) and the picture itself is from ME1 - correct? ...so the chances of us ever seeing such a Litho seems unlikely.

Yeah Saren is from ME1. It has Anderson in the background. So it's more like a pre-ME1 litho
It's the only litho connected to ME1 from memory.

And you haven't played LotSB.... It's like the best DLC ever. I do remember that scene too. Don't really remember the image though.

Yes, but that would be a rather large package.

Anyways, I bought LotSB, but I have not had a chance to play it yet. I've been saving it for an optimal time. I need to be in the right mood, if you know what I mean.
