This is ridiculous!

After downloading all expansion packs
(Shadow Broker, etc), when I enter the game, the only chracters I have
available is Jacob, Miranda and Zaeed.

What happened to all the
rest of my characters?!  Why do I have to re-play old missions to
RE-RECRUIT the same characters I had previously?....

Everything else seems fine as I have my upgraded weapons, etc since finishing the ME2 game.

is anyone in tehesame boat as me?  What is teh rationale to this?.......
